  • as far as I can tell there is an ultimate subjective awareness"GOD" because I damn sure did not create all that there is and can be. however I dont by into the whole wrath and anger and even favoritism behavioral patterns that many people make God out to have.

  • I found it a little odd when he said more people are wanting to "join" in on atheism, there is nothing to join, nothing you have to do, it's like the religious equivalent of the color white, there is no color so therefore it isnt one, there is no beliefs so there is no religion so you are not joining in on anything.

  • Still baffles me everyday that supposedly 76% of the US is Christian. I call bullshit. I think a good majority is just acting Christian in a notion to look good because being an atheist or a agnostic is looked "down" upon in society.

  • Sorry, this is America, not Europe. Welcome to sellout America, where tools make themselves.

  • I only hear Brian speaking, even though I know it's Seth's normal voice hahaha!!

  • Anybody think he sounds like Brian from Family Guy?

  • @Danthrax11 he is brain from family guy idiot

  • @Danthrax11 he plays brian on family guy. damn you're stoopid.

  • Seth is wonderful...

  • I love how gay marriage is thought to destroy the sanctity of marriage, but stuff like The Bachelor, and all these other fiascos like Kim Kardashian and her 10 second marriage is somehow deemed acceptable. The double standard in this country is beautiful. All homosexuality needs to do is become a big money-making industry and I assure you, ideals will change. Only thing more powerful than ignorance is money.

  • I think it's amazing how atheism is still seen as something special and controversial in the US. Watching clips from american talk shows makes me appreciate europe more.

  • @atomwaffle

Yeah I always wondered about that. Why is 'coming out' as an atheist so big in America and why is it even called 'coming out'?!

  • @Edge0fPain: Because it's the new black, or the new gay, or the new female. Because apparently people over there don't learn very well from the mistakes of the past.

  • meh... smoke a half gram of DMT to your head and THEN say your an atheist.

  • @mastershan87 word, ill put that on the bucketlist homes.

  • I'm technically atheist I suppose, atheist-agnostic, but I really hate the idea of advertising atheism. I do not want to take away faith from people who live their lives happily with their beliefs. As long as they don't force their beliefs on others, then I am perfectly fine. I do not understand why people have to be so radical against the concept of religion, in the grand scheme of things I like life better with the religions of the world. Who knows, one of them may even be true.

  • @likethemapplez If being happy with your beliefs means being blissfully ignorant to reality, I am scared for my kids and yours and future generations to come.

  • @likethemapplez ", in the grand scheme of things I like life better with the religions of the world."

We have nothing to compare though. Through all of our recorded history religion has been an overwhelming influence on humanity. Even the more secular nations are infected with it.

  • @likethemapplez I dont have problems with people if they are happy with their religion. Though I like to have rational discussions with them, which usually strenghtens me even more in my agnostic-atheist position. The problem is that religion has infiltrated society in such a way that it also affects people who want nothing to do with it. Look at the USA, atheists are the most distrusted minority (10% of pop), while they form 95% of the scientists, and only 0.2% of the inmates.

  • Deceptive title.......what a surprise

  • I'm an atheist, i support gay marriage, but Seth McFarlane is a moron, and hes not funny

  • Srsly, what's with the stupid title?

  • even dogs and cats have a sense of fairness, humans arent the only animal with a moral sense. i once met a nut who said "well if the bible isnt true why dont we run around killing each other?'

  • WHOO

  • I feel such pity for everyone who don't have faith because it's such a gift to see and know things with certainty. Faith in God made a big difference in my life...even in tragedy there is great security and my perception is much more balanced. Faith is like a muscle that needs to be used. Just the fact that you have your health and woke up this morning is a gift God gave us Then comes our decisions of what we're going to do with it and how we're going to act.

  • @christineczy09 What about millions of children in Africa who have faith? Why cant they wake up healthy everyday? Faith is just a way to cope with reality. It is modern medicine and knowledge about microbiology that made us healthier. You might use faith to deal with inconveniences, but when you start feeling a horrible pain in your chest, what would you do? Get on your knees to pray, or would you call an ambulance? How strong is your faith when things get real?

  • @Helleu1 How strong???VERY strong!! You don't think I haven't been through tragedy?? Even my mom could tell you stories of WWII that would make your hair curl...but that's exactly what tests the strength of your faith. Having faith is not a 'polly-anna-ish' existence. It's knowing and believing that the darkness will not envelope you because God loves you. Even death doesn't have the last word. I encourage you to ask someone in AA who's been to hell & back--they'll tell you what got them through

  • @Helleu1 The ambulance example goes along with what I said about making good decisions. Obviously I would do both. God gave me a brain as well as the paramedics. Praying for them to make the right decisions would be a good idea too. God doesn't interfere with our decisions, but He is there to help us when we make poor ones

  • @christineczy09 Yeah, like you really need faith to help deciding to call the ambulance. But then again, what about the children in Africa? Many of them have faith in God. Why didn't God give them good paramedics?

  • @Helleu1 I understand your concern; I think your real question is 'why does God allow some people to prosper, get rich, live in luxury and others to suffer terribly?' I don't know...suffering is a mystery. I know that eventually suffering comes to us all poor & rich alike. I do know that some of it is of our own making. Maybe we have a lesson to learn; maybe our suffering is a reminder to others of certain consequences; there IS a reason and we will know one day. I live life the best I can.

  • @christineczy09 Suffering is not a mystery, it's stone cold reality. I am a well travelled person, and I have seen people in very poor living conditions, with no hope for improvement. A just God, in my opinion, should give each person equal living conditions and equal opportunities. Now it´s like a teacher giving everyone a test to pass the same subject, some people get easy questions, others get really difficult questions. I can´t think of any reason why this is good or just.

  • @Helleu1 your teacher analogy is exactly right THAT'S part of the mystery! I've known poor people who were extremely happy and actually looked at the wealthy with pity! You should read Mother Theresa's books, she'll tell you about the poor and how spiritually rich they are. Even if God did make everyone living in perfect conditions do you think that would be enough? People always would want more..that's humanity for you, and God IS just. He gets angry at this stuff; it's not what he planned

  • @christineczy09 "People always would want more"

Yes they do. Eternal life is one more thing people want, even though there is no real reason to believe its possible.

"He gets angry at this stuff; it's not what he planned"

I'm always fascinated with those who think they know what God wants or how God feels. You may want to consider that it may in fact be what YOU want and how YOU feel.

  • @hawklord2001 there are plenty of reasons to not THINK but KNOW it's possible. And Anyway, what can you offer as an explanation that it isn't? Heaven isn't a given. You need to work hard at being a decent human being in this world when others are backstabbing you. As for what God wants, look in the OTestament. He got angry at people doing their own thing & gave the 10 commandments (not 10 SUGGESTIONS) & doesn't matter what I want but what HE wants to make me a betr person & make a betr world

  • @christineczy09 "Even if God did make everyone living in perfect conditions do you think that would be enough?"

You don't see the irony here? That's exactly what the promise is, but you have to die first. It's just wishful thinking.

  • @hawklord2001 there is no irony. God doesn't lie or deceive us of his promises like we human beings always do. He made them very clear and He's serious about it. We humans ALWAYS want more, better job, better spouse, better home--more more more; we're never satisfied. THIS is the wishful thinking, my friend. If he gave us what we wanted all the time how would we grow? Many of us have big enough egos as it is and we take everything for granted. In the end I'm sure he'll have you take a nice look.

  • @Helleu1 Ok here's something else that may help shed some light: there is an audio you can listen to for free on suffering. Type in 'Ewtn Audio Library File Index' click 1st link, It's in ABC order. Go to bottom of pg and click p. 6 find talk 'Suffering & the God of love' by F.R. Spitzer; there are a series of talks, you may like #'s 7, 8 &9. It's very good. Hope this helps. I'll be thinking of you.

  • @Helleu1 What I mean is that you need exercise good judgment and decision making at those times (& all times); you need FAITH to believe that whatever the outcome, you will make it through the struggle-Like I said, even if you die. Regular prayer or just talking to Him keeps your faith strong when you pay attention to what He's communicating to you about your life. Try it.

  • @christineczy09 I believe that faith can help you to get through difficult times. Unfortunately, faith is something that has been monopolized by religion, while having faith does not necessarily require a belief in the supernatural. A healthy dose of faith couldn´t hurt anyone, but I think it goes wrong if you start wandering off in delusion. It might work for you, but I prefer to keep a grip on reality. Besides, two hands working can do more than a million clasped in prayer.

  • @Helleu1 According to Webster's dictionary (not to mention the bible)Faith means an unquestioning belief in God; it belongs nowhere else but IN religion.Since you can only do so much, what do you rely on when you come to the end of yourself? Just in watching the news it's obvious that we humans cannot manage much on our own or we'd have perfect lives.

  • @christineczy09 "Faith means an unquestioning belief in God; it belongs nowhere else but IN religion"

This is bang on. There is no other aspect of our lives in which faith plays a roll. Oh sure we toss the word around daily, We have faith in our favorite football team etc but this is in fact not faith but reasonable expectations based on past performance or using known facts to predict a result.

  • @christineczy09 Lol sorry but the dictionary states faith is a belief in something that is not truth. When the end comes you have to come to terms with your own morality. Thats why religion offers a way around this giving you eternal hell fire or glory. If religion didn't plague society with various on going wars and hatred to the opposing sides, and incoorporate that into our governments then I wouldn't worry about it so much.

  • @christineczy09 Well, actually I have just looked up the definition of 'faith' at Merriam Webster's dictionary. There are several explanations of the word faith, and you just picked out the part that supports your own opinion. Go back, read it carefully, and you will see that it is not restricted to religion. To make it easier for you, they even have examples of how the word faith can be correctly used in situations that have nothing to do with religion or God.

  • @Helleu1 As far as prayer, prayer is POWERFUL! Oh if you only knew!! I've known people who were cured from cancer and other diseases from prayer-not without medical intervention but I've known Doctors to be flabergasted by complete healing when medical tests have come back clean when situations were hopeless.

  • @christineczy09 "when situations were hopeless'

Hopeless is not the same as impossible.Did all medical treatment stop? There are 7 billion people on this planet. The numbers alone mean that once in awhile something unexplained will occur, it can't be otherwise. But if you are going to claim that prayer was the reason then you MUST provide testable repeatable, verifiable proof. Until then I will dismiss the claim.

  • @hawklord2001 yes all medical treatment stopped. And yes it doesn't happen all the time that's why it's called a miracle but they do happen--big ones and little ones. Not everything can be explained by intelligence & reason or even proof, but when 2 hands have had 3rd degree burns on them and the person comes in for a skin grafting procedure and the hands are perfect when unbandaged, what more proof do you need? Maybe God hides these from people who wouldn't ever believe if they saw it themselves

  • @christineczy09 If it makes you happy I do have lab reports of one in my own possession...but I know you would still doubt. That's Ok it doesn't matter

  • @christineczy09 Did you experience these people getting magically cured first hand, or did you read some testimonies and you just accepted them because you wanted them to be true? To be frank, when I am laying on the ground having a heart attack, I rather have one doctor treating me, instead 10 people around me praying.

  • @Helleu1 I have heard testimonies first hand. I have heard testimonies of people who who examined the evidence and verified they were true...you know...what else can I say? It was the same in Jesus' time--some people just would not or could not accept evidence. Nothing has changed. My mom has experienced many miracles in WWII and just the fact that I was even born is miraculous. Miracles happen all the time-guess it depends on where you want to look

  • @christineczy09 Is there any link these miracles are directly related to Jesus or the particular God you believe in? For all we know, it was pure coincidence, or perhaps a different but generous God who doesn't care about your beliefs, but your wishful thinking links it to Jesus. And these testimonies, were they from Christians? Their evidence might be biased. Also, doctors can make mistakes, and they might have wrongly diagnosed them with something more severe.

  • @Helleu1 There is only 1 God and there are no coincidences. Some testimonies can be false that's why when someone gives one at the church I go to (& I believe there are testimonies in other denominations too)--here Dr's reports must be submitted, there must be first hand knowledge of the illness by the priest/pastor and (it's usually not someone who's a stranger to us anyway) and there has to be an investigation by outside professionals before the person can step forward and tell their story.

  • @christineczy09 About WW2, I don't know your mother's stories so I can't really discuss them. I knew a person who recently passed away at 98yrs, he was a fireman during the time my city got leveled by the Nazis, he still has nightmares about the body parts he saw lying around and burned corpses of babies. Now you tell me why God would perform miracles only for certain people? These people who died might never had the chance to reproduce and get children who can speak of miracles.

  • @Helleu1 Just a little correction, the person I speak of passed away, so he HAD nightmares, not anymore, of course.

  • @Helleu1 Believe me, God grieves over this, and I'm sure this man is very happy now, and also...since God is just, the ones who were the cause of his suffering will answer for it. God can't MAKE people do things or think things; He respects our free will & Obviously God doesn't rescue us from all our misery for various reasons. If you ask Him why, ask Him also for the ability to hear the answer. He will.

  • @christineczy09 Apparantly he doesn't respect our free will as he says if we choose wrong he'll torture us for eternity because we didn't love him. Your god is a bully.

  • @Helleu1 I am so sorry about this. People suffer because of others' stupidity. There's a story in the bible in John 11 of Martha and Mary, who were calling for Jesus to heal their brother who was near death but he didn't come and they cried in anguish saying if He had been there their bro wouldn't have died and the Jews were saying 'couldn't he have done SOMETHING so he wouldn't have died?' He emphasized that belief in Him is necessary even in tragedy. Hard concept but reading it might help

  • @Helleu1 Unfortunatley many children die from relying on faith. So i guess some people would really go to their knees.

  • I love Seth, he's so freaking awesome.

  • Athiests and Religious people are both morons. believing in something with no proof is blind faith, whether you believe there is a god or believe there isnt one. Agnostics are the true masters of intelligence and reason. Because at the end of the day, theres just no way to be 100% sure either way.

  • GAY PRIDE FOREVER!!!! ATHEIST PRIDE FOREVER!!!! :)

  • I like the guy, but I think he forces his opinion on people in his shows

  • @ahdeeeed Turn it off and don't watch it.

  • @ahdeeeedit Correct opinions are called facts.

  • @civwarfan Well I guess that's just like, your opinion, man.

  • As far as denying God's existence: I find a lot of people walking around feeling dark and depressed. I found that It creates a 'personal world' of anger, anxiety and back-biting. He puts it simply: Feed the hungry, shelter the homeless or help them in whatever way you can, give without judging to those most unfortunate and when YOU ask for his help; He will be there for you and you will know it, without a doubt

  • @christineczy09 We are in dark and depressing times true. The age of anxiety.

  • @TeknikalyRite

Chill the fuck out. You're like fucking obsessed with this shit.

  • Garbage, complete garbage

  • It's like hearing Brian speaking!

  • @MrManson94 hahaha so true

  • I've also got to say... I like Family guy, but Seth is a douchebag lol. I mean you can pretty much hear it in his tone and the language he chooses to use..

  • @gtas321 Well he ain't the stoner I thought Family Guy's creator would look like... HIGHly disapointed

  • Atheism is so stupid. The only logical way of thinking and only logical solution would be agnosticism.

  • @gtas321 this would be true if there was an equal amount of evidence on both sides. There is not. There is a probability(though no evidence) of a creator it is vanishingly small. We must reduce this small chance further, as the theist believes this creator to take an active role in the universe, and on this insignificant planet. This stupidly tiny chance is further reduced, as the theist claims that it is his god(out of the thousands avail) that is the creator.

  • @edcampion19 Leave theists out of this, for even a 13 year old could demolish an idiotic theists. Bring Deism into it's place, because I am scientific deist not a fairy tale believing dunderhead. I do not believe that god takes an active role in the universe. I believe that he made a self reliant universe. If god DID take an active role in the universe then we would see god in a nebula making a star with our own eyes. But do we? Nope. God made the universe and left it be.

  • @gtas321 I've no real argument with you then, any I have are largely semantic, and based on a different view of what size probabilities we have to care about.

  • Family guy is a great show, but they're both douches...especiall john

  • the title is so misleading!

  • "this is not fox television, we have standards here"

    best line in TV history...

  • while i am not a fan of recent family guy seasons, i still have tremendous respect for mr macfarlane

  • LOL! that was hilarious. Why so many thumbs down tho?

  • @Blake4014 Because all the silly creationist were hoping to see him actually make fun of atheists xD

  • seth mcfarlanes gay

  • im done with faimlty guy this guy is burning in hell for the rest of of his life ps jhon kings is a dumass

  • I now know the formula for drawing out insane people to comment unintelligibly on youtube. Misrepresent the content of a video that concerns atheism or homosexuality and let sit.

  • Seth Macfarlane sounded very convincing. When he stated he likes an "ass fuck"

    pathetic.

  • Well, Christ is bieng persecuted just as predicted. This is nothing new to me. I believe in Jesus Christ bieng resurrected. We made a religion after him. Why woldnt we, weve been making religions for thousands of years? This was not the intention. God exists. No one religion is "correct" on who is god. I believe in good and evil. There is no death aside from the body.(carbon cycle) Evolution happened (yet many questions). We ate from the tree of knowledge(metaphorically) and gained free will.

  • @HiGhLiKeAlLaDin blind faith^

  • @kpsnnf Im not saying I have all the answers. But my worldview greatly agrees with Jesus Christ. Calling that blind faith is fine with me buts its ultimitely my choice. My world seen through MY eyes corresponds to the raw data. Maybe if youve seen what IVE seen through MY eyes youd feel similiar. I think religion is kind of a bad thing honestly. Ive felt god working in my life in strange ways. I KNOW for a FACT that their has been influence from a devine source which is not completely known 2 me

  • Comment removed

  • @kpsnnf Their is actually an enormous amount of personal evidence that I have to support what I choose to put my faith into. You have not had the same experience as me on this planet so how do you have the right to call my faith 'blind'. That is a faulty philosophical point. If I hadnt experienced what had, I might not be as faith driven as I am. I hope you can extinguish that nasty attitude quickly enough to try and enjoy life from a perspective of love for ALL living things.

  • @HiGhLiKeAlLaDin again, blind faith, attributing certain events to the existence of your god is in no way "evidence", and this is no attitude, it is what i think on the matter, atheism is the future, it will bring us ALL one step closer to unity, and by all i mean every single person in every country, religion has been the basis for much bloodshed and prejudice, and is this also what you would call "evidence"?

  • @kpsnnf Im trying to tell you its not Blind Faith man. No need to twist my words. I never said religion was a good thing. Personally I think It is a bad thing. But their is no need to throw the baby out with the bathwater. I believe in a higher power.NOT the traditional assumption that we can give God attributes to our liking. Religion does not equal God. You know what I meant by evidence there is no need to mock me. Its not MY god, its THE god. I have no say in the matter at all. cont...

  • @HiGhLiKeAlLaDin Look, I have no problem with your belief. If I had to choose to try and be cool with you or try to prove my point I would choose the former. Its more important that we practice love towards other people. I dont blame you for not agreeing with me man, your not me. I have had prophetic visions, paranormal occurences, and coincidences beyond explanation my whole life. I KNOW I have experienced something beyond our understanding. That doesnt make me better than anyone. Its just a gift

  • @HiGhLiKeAlLaDin I'm sorry but in what way is Jesus being persecuted? All McFarlane said was that people were stopping to believe in Jesus. If you think that's persecution then do not read anything historical since you will crap you eyes out.

Similarly, for thousands of years we've been killing, raping, destroying and torturing each other in the name of a billion ridiculous concepts. It doesn't automatically make it a better thing if it continues for a long time.

  • @doctortehe I guess your right. He didnt say Jesus. But I still think saying their is no higher power is a little silly. Thats just me though. And oh yeah, i agree people have done alot of crap in the name of religion. Religion needs to stop.

  • @HiGhLiKeAlLaDin It is ultimately logical to be agnostic...but then, since when were humans logical? Humans as a species are...illogical.

People do horrific things in the name of religion but also to gain money or for a political cause of some vague description. I don't think it's necessarily the issue of a religion, money or politics. I think it's a human problem. But...it's a problem that you cannot solve since the extermination of the entire human race is a bit of a social faux pas.

  • Atheist = supports homosexuality.

    No surprise here!

  • It must be an alright title. You watched it

  • Great video, terrible title.

  • I like a good assfuck as much as the next man LMAOOOOOOO.

  • Wait, no he didn't.

  • There's no closet to come out of for atheists in hollywood. Now if he were a Christian, then hollywood would give him real trouble.

  • Look At the Jew Pushing Atheism on the Goyim Cattle, Job Well Done Elders of Zion

  • @DoinDabzByTheSlabs Seth is an atheist (not a Jew) and is giving his opinion because he was asked. It's better than Christians forcing their views down the throats of others. That's only been happening for centuries.

  • @ghostframer Not Seth even though that is a popular Jewish name, Bill is Jewish

I think you should Research Christianity not JewDago Crossianity the Greatest Sleight of Hand in History was the Destruction of Christianity and Christians & replaced with Judaism that is 85% of the Bible which makes no Sense Judaism is the Adversary to Christianity not the Muslim Faith the Jesus of the Quran Reflects Apocrypha Jesus the Jesus that was removed. Judaism & Roman Paganism=Neo Christians

  • @ghostframer Gnostic Christians do not force anything on anyone, Gnostic Christianity is more like a Combo Religion that does not rule out valid Science Like the Brainwashed Cattle Today. Mega Church's Claiming Christianity are practitioners of the very things Joshua Spoke against

Crusaders were not Christians they were Barbarians, Christians Lived better under Muslim Controlled areas throughout History

  • the neatest thing of all is we can each have our own opinions and beliefs, yet still love and respect each other just the same.

  • @snackcrackers85 through fear. we arent a hive. ants dont rebel, or have their own beliefs. Each man is a colossal universe of infinite forces. a singular crusade for himself. if its going to simmer down to each individual having his own beliefs but not the heart nor strength to shout them out loud, to attempt to bring followers? then its not freedom. testosterone. most freedom theorists are druggies whove had theirs knocked off course.

  • Comment removed

  • @snackcrackers85 What planet are you talking about?

  • @snackcrackers85 And that is the real understanding right there friend. (=

  • Seth Macfarlane is a champ.

  • THEISTS CAN'T PROVE GOD EXISTS. ATHEISTS CAN'T PROVE HESHE/IT DOESN'T.

Forcing YOUR ideology on people is what Atheists attribute to Theists, but lately I've seen quite the opposite. Bullshit is bullshit no matter who's mouth it comes out of.

Ignorance and accepting bullshit is a problem, but what Religion or Lack-There-Of ISN'T the problem.

  • I feel sorry for religious people, it's not their fault they were born with only half a brain.

  • @D00MWEED I feel sorry for atheists too.

Theists at least think there's an invisible being that loves them.

Atheists think they are totally alone for no discernible reason.

While I, on the other hand, don't give a fuck and just smoke a metric fuck-ton of weed.

  • @TeknikalyRite Did you ass-u-me that I'm an Athiest? LOL!!

  • @D00MWEED Re-read my statement, did I make an assumption that "you're an atheist"? LOL :P

  • I don't champion gay rights and special privileges, I just let people decide for themselves.

  • @cragmac1000 Is there anyone who champions special privileges for gays?

  • @Pomme843 , Yeah, they're called rights.

  • @cragmac1000 What rights can be described as "special privileges"? The right for two sane adults to consensually marry one another? The rigth to vote? What?

  • Ppl who say the bible contradicts itself don't know what they're Talking about. Even atheist experts say that the Bible has no contradictions. And the Quran teaches much of the same stuff just a different and false god.

  • @joshuaalvinerdahl Which atheist experts are you talking about?

  • @joshuaalvinerdahl False god? There is no god just the will of every human being, you sir are a fucking moron and I will be pleased to see how much you will regret your shit life on your deathbed :D going to heaven? It doesnt exist! Cunt!

  • @demon4411 agreed. if we have free will, according to a christian, God would have given us that free will. Why not give us will to only do good and not evil. By letting us do evil that makes god evil. Christians are so closed minded and the only reason they believe in their religion is because they were raised to believe that way, not because it makes sense. Logically, every religion is fucking stupid.

  • @STEF54 Scientifically speaking, every religion is theoretically possible.

Logically speaking, religious DOGMA is fucking stupid, because it plays on a gross misunderstanding of LANGUAGE. Written and Spoken.

So, LOGICALLY speaking, your assertion is invalid because, this theoretically plausible being may, in fact, be dual-natured and be both "good" and "evil"- THAT'S ASSUMING that this being even holds such petty notions ANYWAY.

    So, recap: Dogma = bad

    "God" = Scientifically Plausible.

  • @TeknikalyRite with your logic, dragons and witches are "scientifically plausible"

  • @MANGOS487 Well, if you think that they aren't scientifically "plausible" then prove they don't exist anywhere in the Universe.

    I'll wait.

Because if you don't understand the basic concept of what the Scientific Method/Science IS then I'm not the person who possesses the misunderstanding.

  • @TeknikalyRite Correction.

"God" = (his existence) scientifically very implausible.

Though his existence would be very hard to absolutely disprove. But this does not mean there is a 50/50 chance of his existence either....;-)

  • @la2111 But you at least understand my view, which is all that matters ;D

  • @demon4411 He can't prove that it does, and you can't prove that it doesn't.

    ...

    Cunt.

  • @joshuaalvinerdahl bro i can list 1000 contradictions in the bible. And false God? you guys believe a jew nailed to wood is God's son. He never said "i am god, worship me" he never even said he was the son of God, Jesus just said "i was sent by the father" not by his father. Islam makes more sense than Christianity. False God? Their god is named "Allah", which just means God translated to english. And dont even try to argue ive been researching for years.

  • @STEF54 Of course he never said that shit, that was the Council of Nicea retroactively made Yeshua "divine".

    Allah = (lit.) God

Your point? You still can't prove that God DOES NOT exist, hence, you cannot scientifically prove your case. Meaning, you are arguing personal opinion, which is ultimately irrelevant.

I'm not a theist, don't get me wrong- but militant atheists are just as bad from the third party perspective.

  • @joshuaalvinerdahl "Ppl who say the bible contradicts itself don't know what they're Talking about."

Ppl who say that the Bible comes from the lips of God don't know what they are talking about. Even biblical experts can't show what they claim is in fact true.

  • @hawklord2001

Anyone who takes the Bible LITERALLY doesn't understand LANGUAGE.

Athiests who don't UNDERSTAND THAT are just jackasses hoping on the same bandwagon.

  • so awesome

  • seth kicks ass.

  • Seth You fucking homo

  • "i am um..." WHAT!!! I AM UM WHAT! why end!!!

  • Christianity(if there is a God) would not even come close to being the right religion. Over 1,000 contradictions in the bible and about 17 in the Holy Quran. People talk shit about Islam but if there is a god, Islam is right. I myself do not believe in God. If there is an all powerful God, and he's all good, why does evil exist? If he's all powerful he can stop the evil, and if he's all good, there shouldnt be evil in the first place. It is not logical to believe in God.

  • @STEF54 I agreed with most of what you said. All except Islam would be right. Since Islam is based off of the Judeo-Christian god, it too would be wrong. Besides, it even says in the Quran that there are many contradictions in it. But, readers should just ignore the first one and go with whatever the second or third contradiction says.

  • @STEF54 you misunderstand the old testament and the new testament are two totally different covenants two different sets of laws. the old testametn is not followed by christians. it is christian history also known as jewdism.. of course they contradict God did not make evil evil was brought in to the world because of mans choice they rebelled against God and listened to satan instead of God that is why we have evil in this world because of sin. that is why we suffer.

  • @jacosoft666 it is said that in many holy texts word of god cannot be changed. Yet there is 100 different variations of the old testament, in 100+ languages, and with some words changed. Altering some words is still changing word of God.

  • @STEF54 Very true.

Did you know that Science is the only world religion where it's widely accepted to change it's dogma?

Case in point- Scientists [pre-Space Flight] concluded that Space was made of a substance called "Aethyr". It wasn't until Einstien that Science's collective view of the ultra-Terra environment radically changed, meaning the Scientific understanding was radically redefined. Isn't that the sum of your complaint with Religion?

  • @jacosoft666 "you misunderstand the old testament and the new testament are two totally different covenants two different sets of laws"

Until you can show that The Bible is in fact the word of a God anything it says about the afterlife, divinity or morality is irrelevant.

  • @hawklord2001 Love thy neighbor as thyself, Honor your mother and father, thou shalt not kill- I'm no bible thumper, but how exactly would that be "irrelevant" morality?

Your personal vendetta against Religion is showing.

  • @TeknikalyRite "Honor your mother and father"

While on the surface it seems moral but remember it's a commandment. Respect and honor are things to be earned.

    "thou shalt not kill-"

While this is a fantastic concept what makes you think it had to come from God?

There were a myriad of thriving cultures that predate the publication of the Bible(Not just the writing but widespread publication and translation)

  • @hawklord2001 Look, No matter how profound or beautiful or even morally correct certain aspects of the Bible may be, a book that contains characters like talking serpents talking donkeys, Jonah, Samson, Nephilm Onan, Ehud. Cannot seriously be taken as the words of a god.

And until you can show that it is the word of God I won't take yours or any other humans word for it.

  • @hawklord2001 Where do you get the impression that I believe any of that bullshit anyway?

I'm simply pointing out, that when those words where written in Hebrew- they were essentially a NEW morality (not that even the Hebrews themselves adhered, but I digress). So, you can leave the morality argument out of your Theism/Atheism debate- because historically, the only "social morality doctrine" to be spawned from Science was Eugenics and Natural Selection, all lacking COMPASSION.

  • @hawklord2001 You forget the context of the medium of written word: language is an expression of thought, but words and terms used by an individual have the meaning the individual attributes to them- I'm not arguing FOR theism, brother. I'm just pointing out the fallacy in specifics of your argument so that you may make a more accurate and "air tight" one.

Ultimately, it's all OPINION anyway, mine is my own, yours is yours- there's really no point in arguing/debating it.
