I remember in those days Tommy Rich was ranked by the wrestling mags as the most popular wrestler in America then came Hulk Hogan and the Rock N Wrestling era that made Hogan the biggest star ever.

I seem to remember the Oates brothers wresting Rip Hawk and Swede Hanswn on TV in the 70's (mid atlantic wrestling) and it being one of the best tag team matches I had seen. Both Pates were under rated...

Solie makes guys like micheal cole look stupid. Ironically, didnt tommy rich and Lawler fued in 1987 in Mid South. I think austin Idol was involved if I'm not mistaken

Jerry Oates was one of the great rough technical wrestlers. Lots of fire. Glad he trained me how to wrestle.

He trained me in columbus ga in 2006 right after my time in the military and he got me into gcw, so no superstation, but you cant have everything
