I can not believe people left so many unused or hardly used things behind. there were tents not even opened yet in the boxes.. I can only imagine how many drugs were left behind
get a life litter bug. you shold get yore sorry ass out there and puck it up. god made the earth for taking car of it. not for you litter bugs help the city out i hope you get cought. if i see anay body littering i will turn them in asap :}
you're the one who needs a life. it's the organizer's fault for not having adequate and proper areas set up for garbage and recycling. anyways do you know how much business was brought to pemberton that weekend because of us? more than that town has seen in the last year, so the least those chugs can do for us is pick up our shit. learn to spell "adcomamps", you fucking tree-hugging loser :)
well ya they didnt plan that weekend out enough, i guess some ppl would rather ditch their gear than have to walk with it to the bus then to their car. wicked weekend but poor planning... how many garbage cans did u see all weekend? i saw 4 all weekend
I just want to clarify that I think the "scavengers" (and I should probably say "reclaimers" instead of "scavengers") are doing a valuable public service by keeping perfectly good stuff from going to the landfill. We had a great time at the festival, and scored a few things for ourselves from the mess left behind on Monday afternoon, too. I'm entirely sure it was way easier to leave (cheap) camping stuff behind than try to cart it back by unreliable shuttle service ... that's the sad part.
Exactly. The organizer is to blame (Live Nation Worldwide Inc.) These bastards who poorly commercialized the beautiful community of Pemberton need to be exposed and reprimanded. Near our site there were 4 cart-type blue bins for "drink containers" and "garbage", and 4 portapotties, servicing 4 camping fields, easily 10,000 people. The bins were not emptied once between Thursday @6:30am and Monday @11:00am!! No proper recycling station onsite, and pitiful public transportation.
I think your standing right where our tent was! We cleaned up, and even scavenged a new tent and bag to carry it in! HA! Problem was transportation - school buses for peeps and all their gear doesn't cut it. Killer weekend though!!!
