A very powerful and dramatic performance, but there is no doubt that it's superior to the greek routine, which was perfection. Back then most russian groups seemed to focus more on the artistic impression rather than the level of difficulty and both of their olympic programs were beautiful but dull in terms of execution and difficulty. Both greek programs were among the best in the history of this sport IMO and without the stupid mistakes, Greece would have easily won gold.
I know my question is not related to this video, could someone tell me what music Belarus used on these same apparatus? Or Whose music arrangements they used? Thanks.
No comparison whatsoever to the greek routine and that's why they scored lower than Greece in both qualifying and final round. Hadn't Greece made that stupid mistake in 10 clubs, they would have easily beaten Russia.
Artistically, this routine is beyond compare...dramatic, beautiful. When those two hoops start flying near the end as the music soars, it is magical. However, the difficulty level is probably not quite what it should have been. And if you compare it to the routines from 2008, you can see how far this sport has come in just 8 years

It's not Belarus, but Russia on the video. And the song is from "Cleopatra". At least that's what the woman says.
