Please do not compare our filthy country to the likes of Japan, Italy, USA or Germany ... they respect basic things like civic sense, cleanliness, sanitation and simple disciplines like traffic rules. Being poor is one thing but being uncivilised has NOOO excuse.

To make the Metro work effectively authorities need to make parking arrangements next to all metro stations. Because imagine U walking or taking a bus or auto all the way from Kumaraswamy layout to catch a metro to reach City Market. How many of us would really do it. I would prefer taking my bike to the station, park it in the lot. Taking a metro. I am sure Metro will serve the purpose this way. Why Koramangala is leftout?

Parking lots for every metro stop? That means more land acquisitions in congested city centers... Which means more crying idiots refusing to give up land and more so-called human rights activists out to build their resume to increase chances of funding. Just take an auto or taxi if you have to get to the metro real quick. Or, just take the bus or walk if you are close enough. Parking space is a huge hassle for govt to work out in the city centers.
