Heres something you could try.

Set up a waypoint before you enter the battle, usually a fair distance away from you. If at any point you decide it'd be a good time to run like hell, all you then need to do is click it and F2. Much quicker than trying it manually.

Doesn't work if your ambushed though ... obvious reasons ... i.e. not having set it up in the first place. xD

Props to Battleships that know how to fly. err well I think that looked pretty good overall. not sure I'd be able to hit pro bomber pilots either. The Gunboat though? I think my mortar would've hit him has I been in the seat.

@azile0 JihadJoe? Good to know, haha. I've RPed so many times with him (or against him) in various conflicts and situations. He's a cool guy, but nearly sanctioned me once for having having a strange character.

Anyway how are things now in Disco? I had so many plans to do, but I ceased playing about 10 months ago. Both factions I was a member of just disappeared and I felt so left behind.

Furthermore I didn't have enough time, Disco is a huge time-eater.

You're right, in order to buy and maintain any kind of capital ship, you have to trade a lot. Pop in now and then, we need more literate people. The stupid ones are running rampant.

As Battleship commander, can you tell me, do it is true that bombers can beat gunboats, cruizers and even battleships realy easy.

And do it is true that battleship not can even defeat fighters ?

@CommanderIX True, a bomber torpedo deal about 165.000 hull damage and 80.000 shield damage. And, yes, is difficoult destroy fighter with Battleship, but is more easy if you fit AA cannons.

I know that there are 3 battleship cannons type.

One of tham is long range cannon, it shot 2 times per secound and deal good damage, 800 m/s, 3000 range, it have many version.

Secound one is defense turnet, it shot 3 amo per secound, 1500m range, 1200 m/s.

Solaris gun, it have low range, low damage but 2400 m/s speed.

But do it is posible to defeat bombers even with solaris turnets batery.

Someone in server told me that bombers and fighters dodge shots easy.

@CommanderIX the solution is "Battle razor" 140,000 hull damage 70,000 Shield damage 1600m/s 1500range refire 0.10s. Need 2.500.000 energy to work, but it can one/twoshot a fighter with good aim.

well, on one side they are smaller than you (you might be MASSIVE, try as an example the spyglass, even if slim it's HUGE) and can have some awesome equipment (antimatter cannons, torpedoes, nuclear mines, paralizer missiles). on the other hand, you have more time to aim, far more firepower, and many guns. so if you pick your targets wisely, destroying bombers and vhf first, the rest of the fight will be much easier.

Liberty navi defeated Rheinland Fleet, but Rheinland battleships and cruisers are alot stronger.

I never played in multiplayer, but I think the reason of lossing battle was because of independant fight.

Rheinland Battleships should make formacion with other battleships or cruizers and take out Liberty units one by one.

You not can win war with just heavy ships alown.

And by the way, your friend was shoting to fighters with AA cannons, nice show.
