  • I got my guitar for my birthday, New Years..and I love it I have no clue how to play but once I get going (Im going to have lessons) I aen't gonna stop

  • @savagekid94 hell yeah dude I also got an epiphone it's a les Paul special 2 and I agree even if you mess up you just keep trying I got the first riff Down pretty fast but the second one took a while

  • I can't actually believe how difficult this is.. Just playing these xDD Lol thumbs up if you got a guitar for christmas :P

  • @benzilla04 i feel like im gonna get frustrated with this haha. I also got a guitar for Christmas. I got a jackson.

  • @benzilla04 LOL i got a Epiphone Gibson :D its difficult but every time i mess up i want to try again. i cant stop!!

  • Awesome. Thanks! looked at some of the other beginner vids but found this series to be the best.

  • OMG I AM MAKING MUSICCCCCCC ^^ TY SO VERY MUCH

  • Hi thank you i love them all.

    Phil

  • I have another question, your guitar is like a low pitch, mine is like a really high pitch even on 6 How Can I fix that? How do I tune it properly?

  • I am a really new to guitar, I have like a bend in marks on my fingers from pressing strings, also sometimes my guitar makes buzzing noises what can I do with that?

  • @aro8910 as this guy said in earlier videos, your action may be too low. for learners its better to have it high, that means have the strings high up off the fret board which takes more pressure to push in but is easier. also your fingers will just adjust and get tougher over time :D

to change your action, look to the bridge near your pickups, you should have gotten a little alan key with you guitar for changing the adjustments on it (if electric) :D

  • My hands are really tiny so I can't spread them out like that. Any other tips?

  • you realy need a top view of the neck because it is very hard to pick out the placing of the fingers. saying the number of the fret and string doesn't help so much either, its confusing and frustrating. just say put your fingers here, here and here with a close up view of the strings. the fingers that are not doing anything, get them down out of the way just for the sake of a clear video sparing any confusion.

  • Hey man, this is a very cool lesson! ive just created some beginner courses that you might want to check out on my channel. Its the Hub of a new website >> RexPearson. com << would love for you to check it out and let me know what you think

  • Brilliant lessons! Thanks!

  • google guitar manual blog for beginning guitar lessons, see the first results

  • Your instructional video is interesting, but I'd suggest you to add chord diagrams (Maybe explain them firsthand) so that people can use these as a reference without having to replay the same audio clip several times. It might clear misunderstandings up a little and it might actually prepare them to read diagrams and maybe learn some chords on their own :P

  • i got my guitar last week and when i play the first song it dont sound like when he plays it can some1 tell me y

  • @Milkshake936 probably because u didnt tune ur guitar good enough, or u just suck. :)

  • @RubenLares1029 wow thanks

  • @ 3:41 You say "Start with the 6th string open twice" What does open twice mean? Sorry, I'm brand new to guitar and your a great teacher, but what fret do I use on this part? I did great on I Can't Get No Satisfaction, but now I'm working on Pretty Woman.

  • @Bmcclure1996

He's saying, play the 6th string, without any fingers on the frets, two times in a row.

  • omg i got it :) top vid

  • I think my hands are too small :( Good vids though :D Everything is clear :)

  • u have n accent

    where ru from?(:

  • this is amazing it teaches u sooo easily

  • i cant see what hes doing with his fingers...

  • what if your hands are to small?..does that mean i can't play?

    0:47

  • i can do this now

  • Hey,im very new to guitar, and i just wanted to ask. When i play my guitar my fingers sort of slant and it is very hard to parrallel my fingers on the 6th string, also my wrist hurts....is this just a phase i have to grow threw? btw nice set of vids

  • yes. Most likely you will find your own technique as the years go by. However if it hurts too much means your are too tense. You need to relax otherwise you will injure yourself. The parallelism of the fingers comes from classical guitar techniques.

  • OMGOODNES I CAN PLAY IT NOW YAYYYY!

  • good vid but its still hard for me i kant spread out my fingers to do the rolling stones cover andi just got a new electric guitar

  • you can do it with one finger

  • so guitars doesnt have notes like eminor it just goes by string letter and fret number.

  • These are chords. Group of notes played together. Em or Eminor is one example of a chord.
