At the time of creation of the state of israel, the israelites and arabs (muslim and christian) had been living with each other, it did not belong to either. Look at the percentages for example, they are good examples. Also dont want to elaborate, but research forced expulsion and illegal settlements. Its good to have a broad knowledge of these issues

@egetunks Well then, I'm not a pro-zioist . I still think hamas is a bunch of terrorists and that Israel has the right to defend her citizens. What country did Israel steal the land from? How does bad behavior by Israel even justify bad behavior by Hamas anyway? If you think hamas is justified in murder then how can you say Israel cannot? Murder is either right for both or wrong for both.

@mydogbanjo You hit the nail right on the head. Israel's continuous oppression and terrorism of Palestinian civilians have lead to the success of more extremist groups such as Hamas.
And that is exactly what Israel wants. By pushing Palestinians towards extremism, then Israel can totally deny any rights to them. Did you notice during the recent so-called peace negotiation in Washington, that Hamas was not there, even thought Hamas was elected DEMOCRATICALLY by people of Gaza?

However, they are duty bound to their civilians to protect them from attack are they not? Every other country on Earth has that duty, why would that not apply to the country of Israel? I gaurantee you 1000% that the moment Hamas and the other factions stop commiting violent acts against innocent Israeli citizens, Israel will not harm a single Palistinian. Gauranteed.

Well I condemn what Hamas did with those busses, but still the civilian kill ration of hamas compared with IDF still is 1:1000, hamas didn't kill hundreds of civilians with white phosphorus in one day, it is clear that the IDF is the real terrorist here!
