This has done it for me, im gonna get a D7000. Finally a good upgrade from my beloved D40 to a semi-pro one ;) good old D40 will be my backup, which has always served me well, but its time for the next step, the D7000 it is gonna be!!

I thought the Nikon D7000 vs. the Canon 7D test was great. The Canon had a clear image, but the Nikon has a nice cinematic look. Is there something that can be done in Premiere or After Effects to turn the Canon video into more of a movie look? That way you could get clear video and film-looking video out of one camera.

I don't have a video of the unboxing (it was just a beta camera!). We don't longer have the Nikon D7000 but I'm editing right now a few videos we shot last week. I think 3 or 4 videos will be coming next week!
