Posso chiedervi che cosa avete usato per ricreare gli specchi? non sono specchi veri, vero?

Sono dischetti di metallo inossidabile specchianti, abbiamo cercato di essere più fedeli possibili all'originale (Barrett difatti non usò specchi veri ma dischetti metallici come questi, che erano molto diffusi in quegli anni nelle arti decorative). Se vuoi usare degli specchietti mi raccomando molati, se no ti flagelli le mani suonandola! Ciao, grazie per i complimenti

La tua mail se non mi confondo con altri mittenti, è di due giorni fa. Scusaci se non hai ricevuto ancora risposta, in questi giorni stiamo portando a termine diversi progetti piuttosto impegnativi ed il tempo da dedicare al monitor è assai poco.

Per quanto riguarda la realizzazione, è tutto spiegato nel nostro blog di myspace, lo trovi linkato nel sito. In breve: l'argento del body non è una verniciatura, come Barrett stesso disse si tratta dell'apposizione di fogli specchianti. Ciao!

What are the mirror discs made of? Is it really a mirror? So, the guitar is VERY fragile.....

Hi Vasilj, thank you for your comment and appreciation. No, it's not fragile at all. The mirror disc's ARE NOT GLASS MIRRORS!

They are highly polished circular thin metal plates, as like those Barrett used 'cause they were everywhere in london in the mid to late sixties as the hippy era came in. They were attacked on the body with a powerful glue, which is used in ship engineering. So can not just be fragile ...

This Guitar its a magic guitar,its Syd Barret's mirrored Esquire wow,I love this guitar and this song!

The guitar is played through a fender Super 60 and its overdrive, without any other effect. That's the real tone of '50 and '60 esquire.
