I can't find your video on your lens anywhere.... I was curious what brand and make your 50mm is? I know you said you aren't too crazy how soft it is, but I just need a fairly cheap back up 50mm in my arsenal. thanks!
@ikicaq really enjoy it. AA powered was a huge pain and thats why I bought a Jag35 Batter for it. Depends on what you are shooting but most of my jobs are full 10+ hours a day so switching batteries that much was not worth it. False color is amazing though, I have yet to have off exposure since using the monitor. Hope this helps and good luck to you.
@MichaelFrymus the rig comes with a giottos quick release for the camera and the bottom has holes for any tripod plate. it is a solid quick release but i do like the manfrottos better. the manfrotto i have is the one that comes with the 503hdv tripod. hope this helps

@mattrampulla the lens was just a used film lens i got at a local camera store. Nikon.

What's that Manfrotto quick release plate called at 7:15?
Looks better & easier than the Redrock DSLR Baseplate.
