hi. i am not trying to offend your feeling. so please understand this one.

i do understand how you feel when you say "I don't think koreans are liar." because it is what the korean government teaches you at school. but i heard that the history textbooks which you use in korea are published by the government and not by private companies. i also heard that, on the back of textbook, there is no referrence or citation pages, which means that readers cannot know where the information comes from.

i am not sure whether what i wrote below is correct or not (about the data source of the korean textbook), but if what i wrote is correct somehow, the history information which you gain at school might not be correct and the wrong information might be created by the gorvernment on purpose.

another thing that i wonder is the reason why the korean gorvernment does not take the DOK-DO Problem to the International Court. the japanese government asked the korean government to take the matter to the International Court in the past, but the korean gorvenment refused it.

@kochan325, REAL information on history comes from those who have experienced it and who have recorded it straight from the horses mouth, if you even understand what that means. When things are rewritten like modern day history books, it's been altered so much that it's more than likely far from the truth and it's all done on purpose to mislead people. I don't find sources like that credible. My sources are from the mouths of many elder Koreans and non-Koreans (Asians) who've lived in those time

@kochan325 things are passed on from generation to generation, and when u hear it enough from elder Koreans who've lived through the times along with NON-Koreans who say the same on very separate occasions, then it's the closest thing to the truth u can get. Text books are not credible sources of information, for it's been altered and manipulated to exactly how they want you to view history. You should be ashamed of not knowing your bloody history. I don't think koreans are liar. Long ago, there were 'Kogureo' 'Silla' 'Baekjae'(It's name of country). Baekjae gave a lot of culture to japan. (I'm korean 16-year old student. If you think I'm telling a lie, find history book about asia.)

After that, when japanese learn western technology, korea didn't. so korea became victim of world-war. Japan colonializationed korea with military force. After world-war 2 Japan loosed all colony, korea was independencED.(by U.S)
