Thanks for the very informative video. I'm curious about one thing: I was taught Osoto gari requires calf of thrower to hit the calf of the receiver. I noticed your tripping leg actually makes contact slightly higher than that, is this better?
Just to clarify, Yamashita is not producing these videos or the commentary, but I will respond to your question th best I can. Yamashita is executing classic kake for osoto gari, which is to use the back of his knee to cut at the back of his uke's knee.
The Kuzushi, Tsukuri, and combinations was very helpful. The technical instruction can lag over here a bit, and I haven't found much stuff on the web. More would be great. (Hamstrings still killing me from inner-tube uchi komi!)
