The Constitution specifies "natural born citizen". It says nothing nor infers anything about both parents needing to be citizens in order for the kid to be natural born.

@cantcu McCain was born on a United States Military base in Panama, while his parents (both US citizens) were serving...., Congress addressed the issue (something they were unwilling to do for 'Dear Leader'), and found him eligible. What would you say if McCain hid behind procedural obfuscating instead of addressing the questions and concerns? THats the issue here. Instead of showing a real Birth Certificate with the copy of the doctors signature, they show us this media produced COLB.

@arrrogantlyignorant what I mean is, they didn't even Officially release THIS form. It 'appeared' on factcheck, and they pointed to it and said, "see, there it is". That doesn't implicate them in anything whatsoever. All the court cases, and all the claims that this COLB is sufficient; yet not even the COLB is sent to the courts; lawyers are sent, costing thousands, to argue why he shouldn't have to release any form. Obfuscating, should not be permitted by our 'Representatives'.

The thing is... Obama was vetted the exact same way that EVERY other Presidential candidate was vetted. The people that conduct that process already accepted his eligibility. If you disagree with them, then you need to go after the process, not the man.
Also, its not up to you what info on a birth certificate is necessary and what is not ("doctors signature").

Claire McCaskill introduced a bill co sponsored by Leahy, Obama and Hillary Clinton that declared McCain a natural born citizen. McCain got sued so the dems did that to help remove all doubt.

Article II, section 1 of the US Constitution clearly states, "No person except a NATURAL born citizen...shall be eligible to the office of president".
Natural born= born on US soil and BOTH parents US citizens.
Native born=born on US soil
