  • i really love this song i have never stopped listening to it since i was in Africa. thanks to Werkiye

  • We love Tibebeu. He is the best! We use his song too.

  • i love u tibebu

  • haawoya woyawoyawoyaaa heee woyaa Uuuuh this is what i call real africa i LOVE it

where do u think i can find the lyrics in latin fonts with translation??

  • So far I have listened to many Amharic songs mixed with Welaitigna. But none of them compares to this one. Tibebu knows how to dance in Welaita style. All the other dances you see in others songs such as in Yambule are not authentically Wolaitan.

  • lol

  • Tibebu you have to answer when people comment on your work. Then you get the genuine feedback for your future career!

  • I love Wolaita music so touching and makes you dance too.

  • south for ever! its the end of amhara

  • Minew mamush? Qunticha yasfeligihal!

  • Sorry, but not only can I write in English I can translate it French, German and Spanish. Anyways I was telling you needed to be pinched for your comment, LOL. Ethiopia needs UNITY brothers and sisters.

    Beautiful video btw!!!

  • There is no unity when you kill and discriminate people because of there tribe, culture and place of born. gambella, ogaden etc. I was amazed you slaved by the countries you mention above not your capablity of translating.

  • Mamuush, you are right. There have been/is a lot of injustice towards the south. But we can always hope to work together for a better future. You need to raise awareness, and maybe educate us about your traditions and history in that matter. There is a lot I don't know about each ethnic group...never had the opportunity to learn. Nevertheless, I am very fascinated by the economical capacities of the region if used properly. I am for stability, growth, and human rights. Peace.

  • The only thing I taught in public school was Amhara culture and history. I even don't speak my father or my mother lounguge. when I think about it make me mad. so I can't educate you because I have nothing. I think this is true for most of non amhara tribe. I know south is green but they taking the resources from the region and building in tigri specially from waylata and Arba minch. all I am saying we need a leader who cares about US. I don't think tigrea,Amhara,or oromo educate my people.

  • R u proud to write in English,, very funny look careful what u just wrote.... Proud for being known the most sofesticated languate in the world and that is Amharic

  • you missing the point of this song , stop been a dumbass.

  • EthiopianBusinessOnline(dot)com is the hottest Ethiopian community website around. It's where the community turn for the latest news, events, videos, network, career, and find Ethiopian businesses.

  • love it...ethiopian beauty....

  • Loving it... ethiopian diversity being shown..

  • Galla Ethiopians need to speak Amharic - Their culture should be destroyed and only Amhara culture should florish.

Look at these Hutus, we turned them into Amharas.

  • You are an eritrean trying to act like an ethiopian and trying to make oromos angry. please eritreans leave us alone.

  • okay Neftgena..i happen to be from wolaiita and i really donn apreciate u coming up here and insulting me by yur comment..ethiopia is full of different cultures thts why its soo diff.from other countries..and anyways if it bothers u why r watching it in the first place..u wouldn't noe but youtube is a place for peeople to watch diff.things and enjoy them.and let me juss say my dad is amhara so its not like i donn apreciate the amhara coulture but ethiopia is not ALL about amhara!

  • Neflgena. I hate it when people start to talk race...you are racist...Ethiopia does not need a person like you. In case you don't know Ethiopia is a mixed Country. I love all of my Gurage, Amahara, Tigiray, Wolayeta, and many more. As long as we are Ethiopian we should UNITE as one not talk in a racist way.

  • Ethiopia isn't just one culture, its made up many differnt cultures and tribes. So your comment was not needed and before you say something as stupid as that you need to read the history of Ethiopia and its ethnicty.

  • You know I thought when he said Soddo New Betay...I thought he meant Kirstanay but I guess its a place in Welayeta. I still like this song though.

  • Wolaiita is da best! i can't wait till i go theres next year..beautiful land, beautiful people.

oh yeah he's singing about Legaba a school in Sodo Wolaiita. and he's tlkin about a girl he met there (his 1st love.) HE ROCKS!!

  • camdens- yeah no problem. but thnx for posting it its such a grat song!

  • I am siltie and I been to wolaita. The people are very friendly and generous. I love wolaita. I am going to create a link through my website so that all ethiopians from diverse background will watch it again and again.I fell sorry for those desperate and drunk bums who wants to see the demise of ethiopia. It is not going to happen. you have the right to dream and fantasize.

  • dats cooo;lll!

  • Whos the guy with all of the hair who keeps rubbing his hair? The principle?

  • Who indeed!

  • you need to calm down mate he did not say anthing bad, all he's saying is that it's a good song even though he doesn't understand the words. which i would second so there is no need for you to take offence.

  • mnew:) I think he meant he liked it:)

  • he meant that he enjoyed it; he said "it's THE shit" a phrase used to say the song is the best.

  • this can be shit to you but its beautiful to the people of Ethiopia. If can't understand it then what the hell r u doing listening to it?
