I was there... this was an awesome performance. Celine, and The entire cast of notredame was outstanding but this may have been my favorite performance of the night.

YES, but Québécois have their own culture by now. If you consider the blood relation strong enough to say that their latin by now, it's ok. In this case, I might be Turk, German,Italian etc as much as I'm Greek!

You're confusing your research. French, along with Spanish & Italian [to name a few; there are thousands of other dialects] stem from the Latin that almost all of southern Europe spoke 2000 years ago, but it does not make the speakers of those languages 'Latin' or 'Latino' in the sense of geographical profiling. There are 2 different forms of the word 'Latin'; speaking a romance language [as languages stemming from Latin are commonly referred] does NOT make you 'Latin'. "Google it."

it most definitely does! this discussion is becoming pointless... people¨geographically profiled¨ are such only because they started speaking a romance language after the colonization...latin america was not latin before learning spanish...i´m running out of ways to explain that language is the defining element that determines wether youre latin or not, but most people seem to have a hard time grasping this simple fact

of course they are latin, don't tell me they look anglo, germanic, or slavos. they are latin all the way, they could pass for spanish or portuguess, and you say language doesn't have to do? language didn't spread by itself, it was immigration that spreaded the latin languages.
