This video isn't very persuasive - whoever made it, don't give up your day job. You use over half the video talking about whales, when the title clearly states you intended on speaking about the movie The Cove which is about the slaughter of dolphins, not whales. This is a very interesting point, because dolphins are not protected under the IWC act, yet you spend a hell of a lot of time on the subject of who is allowed to hunt what.

That being said, Humpback whales aren't endangered anymore. In fact IUCN red list lists them as least concerned and... Increasing in population. Minke whales are listed as Least concern. Fin are endangered with a population of 15,000-18,000 in the Southern Ocean alone.
So what is wrong with eating whale? All animals are equal, us included.
