  • You know when they really glow is after a tire blowing burnout.

  • next time try to put the fire out with something other than a video camera

  • What happend ?

  • Boil the brake fluid yet?

  • jakby taki zestaw miał szlak trafić bo 5 hamowaniach to by ich nie dopuścili do sprzedaży... nie takie rzeczy by wytrzymały... to nie corsa 1.0 tylko infiniti.

  • Don't worry, just the neighbor trying to get to work...

  • Me on the way to work....

  • are you rotors drilled and slotted? cause those ones dont looks like they are slotted or drilled. also you must be riding the braked pretty hard, are you sure they are disengaging all the way when brake is fully let off? when you put after marked shit on you always have to recheck specs or recalibrate shit.

  • I have the 4 piston akebonos and they glow after hard driving as well. I have stoptech pads with motul fluid. But my ABS seems fine!

  • So maybe some weight reduction should be taken under consideration. Substantial weight reduction, those infiniti's are chubby as fuck, or you could just buy a lighter car for driving like a lunatic and drive this one like a normal person.

  • Did you try to stop the planet with that brakes ? ? ? :P

  • nice fake!

  • lol instead of putting it out you take out your phone and record it, we thank you.

  • Methinks cool down lap is needed

  • BURN BABY BURN! Don't take it personaly just made me think of that really annoying song watching this video! hope you got your brakes all sorted!

  • Hot Wheels

  • keeewwwwwllllll

  • Well,

    There's your problem.

  • You should put some grease on the brake pad to relieve some friction.

  • @Zh1tube The physics of a brake system require maximum friction for maximum stopping power. to an extent of course untill the wheels lock up

  • @jokervrs Clearly you can't put grease on brakes unless you're an idiot and don't feel like being able to stop when pressure is applied. It was a joke but people don't understand smart humor.

  • @Zh1tube Smart humor.... Like soo smart that its stupid.

  • haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa o dare u to touch it

  • Stuck in the wilderness, cold, and all I have is my Acura. Needing fire source. ...BRAKES.

  • That's what happens when OEM rotors meets cheap non ceramic carbon brake pads... Less performance and get toast in high speed chase

  • Szkoda felg...

  • The most I've ever had was smoke from the brakes, but this was totally normal because I had just done a pad and rotor change and I was testing/seating them by doing some heavy braking from speed.

You my friend have something a bit more substantial!

  • Time for some Brembo's

  • This reminds me of when Jeremy Clarkson reviewed the SLR mclaren XD

  • Rear brakes should never burn.Check with a mechanic for the brake ratio.

  • Typical nissan

  • @AtariFTW What does that have to do with Nissan? The brakes and rotors were not designed by Nissan you dummy : P

  • laugh

  • How the hell does one manage this? Lol

  • Infinity and Nissan have the worse brakes on the market

  • 1 - Brakes catch fire

2 - Take time to get camera

3 - Watch your own car burn

  • Just to let you know, its the brake dust, not the brakes that burn

  • Hmm... My brakes are on fire.. Better film it and put it on YouTube instead of throwing water on them

  • @RamaLamaDingDon would you realy be that stupid? water? realy..

  • @Timmys2007 Do you know what trolling means? No?

  • Poor vehicle. What a beautiful machine.

  • were is the second 6 ???

  • yay for not having disk brakes on my car...i guess....

  • fuck dude the rim got burned

  • Idiot!

  • You have one of the speacial braking type foot :))

  • shouldve drive off to let it cool not stop and admire the fire.

  • OMG MY BRAKES ARE ON FIRE QUICK GET THE CAMERA

  • Brakes on fire, brakes on fire, burning burng in desire... :D

  • who was the genius that decided, "lets make a video of my infiniti on fire while i could be putting the fire out instead."

  • Did you send this to HPS?

  • how do you like your warped rotors?

  • NEVER BUY A HONDA JAZZ. The brakes catch fire. Trust me.

  • The Brake said: So you just stand there and see me burn.... but that's all right because I love the way it hurt........

  • ah man, how heavy were you braking dude, you're rotors are glowing lol. what kind of setup do you have?

  • @hwhhww , i have made 5 times braking from 120-0 km/h.

My config at picture is - DBA4000 discs + Hawk HPS pads - on front and rear

  • @RunTX Are you sure? Thats very poor quality for hawk pads to start fire when only braking from 120 km/h to 0 five times. I can do that in my mom's car with shitty autozone pads and still be okay..

  • @RunTX man, that brake set up is scary. Just 5 times braking from 120-0km?

When I bed in my GT-R's pads I did 200-30km for 8-10 times, it got hot and I could feel the fade but there wasn't any glow or smoke, just really bad smells.

  • @RunTX

    1 of 2 things

    Bad Brake Pads

    Or

Brake Calipper issue where when you release the brakes they don't spread apart fully leaving you pads slightly touching the rotors. You wont feel any braking but you brakes heat up.

After overheating at least once your pads are burnt so they wont function properly after this also

  • @RunTX Why were you braking so much ? 120-0 5 times is excessive.. lol

  • @RunTX Why the fuck

  • quick throw some ice water on it

  • as i have written below - after this fire - hole brake system was checked.

Repair kit for brake pistons have been needed. All other components did not get any harm.

Now - 6p AP racing brake system was installed on front.

    But its still burning )))))))

  • @RunTX It didn't damage the ABS sensor?, or were they already gone. Currently I drive a car without ABS and have the brakes glow quite regularly.

  • @MrRally4ever , ABS sensors (you can see only one side ..... but i can make you sure, that right wheel burning the same :)) still work properly. 600+ degrees can't make them harm.

And now all new brake 6pistons system works correctly. Can make intensive braking till ABS starts functioning....... and most important .... even temperature risin' too high - my brake pedal continue workin' )))

  • @MrRally4ever were your brakes destroyed?

  • @RunTX if i were u id put water on those brakes so they dont put the car on fire

  • небось

  • with fire like that, be careful and check your brake lines and see if any of them have holes?

  • )))))) its so suddenly happened ))))

I've just finished all tests of my new DBA 4000 slotted and HAWK HPS brake pads...... They smoked too much )))) (of course all preprocedures for 500 km have been done)

At the end of that exam )) I stopped on the street to have a rest. And have seen what you see....... take my phone .... make some pictures ..... jumped in and went to cool my brakes ......

  • @RunTX Are you russian?:p

  • Yeah our car is about to blow up

    GET THE CAMERA!!!!

  • haha great to video it but how abouts putting the flame out

  • sitting still watching them burn is no good. you need to keep moving and let them cool, other wise you will warp the discs.

  • @petrol4d - yuo're right, man. As you can see - i made a 5 sec clip - and than jumped in my car and start cooling my brakes. Manufaster of discs - DBA 4000 series, non slotted.

As result - no problem with discs - but some damage with brake rotors. Repair kit has been needed.

  • @petrol4d you can get pad welding too (on the rears especially)

  • @jcadlols Yes indeed you can. I just avoid burning disc's all together. I find using the brake peddle correctly and slowing through the greabox you can avoid this problem. some bigger disc or vented disc set up helps too. Never put your hand brake on (parking brake, USA) after coming of track this can weld rear pads as well.

  • @petrol4d The car I drive at the track (my dad's) has rx7 brakes whilst weighing 500kg, so I must admit I haven't tried using engine breaking at the track. Hahaha :)

  • прикольно. +5

  • Omg

  • молодец!!! машина то хоть не загорелась??

  • да лан ) успел так сбить - в движении

  • ебать, беги за огнетушителем

  • Тормоза на G35x это просто нечто. Я свои разогревал до появления синего огня ночью :)
