I think the the T.V. series is a mile better than the film

I think there was about 13 episodes made. They are all on the Movieberry film site. around 90 cent's each.

The trouble with DVD releases is they are often released in the U.S.A. but not in the U.K.

The show was well cast and produced and had some great location photography and music scoring. It's got that great late-70s quality/vibe to it. I actually think the pilot is better than the original movie. Just a pity it did not go on for more episodes.

I was a huge fan of the entire Genre. The novel & sequel books by William F.Nolan , the film & the comics (Marvel & others) etc. surprisingly the original story was very Anti-youth culture if you ask me (Logan's speech at the cape) even though it was written at the height of youth culture. I agree...young people suck. One day I'm going to man up & buy one of those Knock off Sandman guns that actually fires the coal miners fuel out of the muzzle. Good review.
