I am grateful for all your love and support! I need it - I'm not sure what's happening with Mark but he has stalled the making of the Habitile though I got us a grant to do so - I really need some help with getting this together...!
This is beautiful Aurora. It looks like fun to make them and they are such an enhancement to our plantless urban environments. It is a great re use for that dratted styrofoam.
@gaza2421 I am sure the habitile itself could withstand that but the growth that of which is on it might not you would have to find hardy plant life in your area that can survive -30 ofc the ones that can shed everything off and look dead until it warms up again...
@MidnightMarrow Thanks. Finding the plants is not a problem... it's not like I live in the high arctic tundra LOL. My main concern was the durability of habitile with the freeze/thaw cycle and temp. extremes (30c in summer, -30c in winter)

Well done Aurora! What a brilliant idea. Especially using 'junk' materials such as polystyrene and aluminium.

Greetings from Canada.
Very interesting product. The temperature in my region varies from 30c to -30c. Has Habitile been tested for extreme tempurature ranges?
