Really good job. This only thing that would've made it perfect would be if you could somehow do the little Qu Rahn commentary before you started fighting. That'd be really hard, so you probably did the best most people could do. Well done! :)

In the original you had kind of a side objective during that fight to not allow Jerec to go to the center (which had a tower) and meditate (he would become immune to damage with a Force Protection-esque ability), every time he did that, statues would move closer to the center, and if they reached the center, the screen would fade to white and the game would be over, implying that Jerec harnessed all the valley's power and wiped you out of existence with a mere thought.
Jerec's taunt was more like "You can not defeat ME", and his main Force attack was an overpowered spell called "Destruction" which directly affected your HP and could potentially send you flying into walls (for more direct damage to HP). However, Destruction never made it to JO/JA and in all games the taunt detracts from the immersion when it's used repeatedly in a short time.
You did a good job clearing up the pixelation on the palleted video, and the fight still fits between the cutscenes.
It's a good remake of the last fight if you never played the original. I don't know the limitations of Q3 scripting, perhaps that's the best that you can do. JK's "cog script" allowed the developers to do virtually anything with text files without having to compile.
Placement of geometry is good, but it could use more detail. JK can push some detailed geometry (esp. with some .exe tweaking), I assume JA can by default, and SHOULD in single-player. Hard shadows, pits in ground, cracked bricks.

Yeah, I know. I haven't played the real DF2 before, and with my limited knowledge of DF2 I put this vid together, it's not even a mod as some think, I just downloaded the DF2 cutscenes and put them with my own game footage.
