AoC Assassin PvP - Level 25 vs Level 35 Guardian

Um.. Ok, here goes.

I am stuck choosing class. I played a guardian at release, but now I want a pvp class.

It is either HoX or Assassin, but ... I am stuck

I want to be able to get into groups easy enough and of course. good in pvp.

I don't want to be overpowered or overpayed.

So, help meah T-T

Guardians are a great PvP class. All classes make a viable PvP difference (okay, maybe not so much on the DTs..). I rank in about 15-20 kills a mini game on my guardian, and I can beat any melee class in duels, yes even bear shamans. Really, the only thing that matters is what do you want to fight against? Guardians are great against melee classes, but a good Demo can tear you apart. Same with the ToS. Sometimes you can't out dps PoMs heals. Really depends on what you want, and how you play it.

Well. Let me put it like this. I played WoW, I got to 80 and went PVE.

So on AoC I want to go all out PVP. And frankly, I believe in most fights I can't choose who to fight.

Well, I just heard on the forums that Guardians got too low dps to be any good in pvp and bla, bla,bla.

I love pvping in all the classes I play. On my HoX I was beating people that are level 40-55 at level 30. Two at a time even. On my SiN it was basically the same thing, and with my guardian sometimes I can break 3 at a time. Guardians have a lot more survivability, if you know how to play them they can have deadly dps also. Like I said, really just depends on what you want. There is no one good pvp class.

Assassin is a great PVP class.

Im so happy with my assassin.

you call yourself a pvp master? sorry but running the whole time is not a thing a master should do....lets meet in AoC when the Xbox360 version is out!

So... standing still and letting every move hit you is smart? You haven't been able to grasp the concept of pvp in conan. It's system is built around moving and evading attacks. Conan is the reason why I'd never go back to a game like WoW, or any other mmorpg out right now for that matter.

It's not logical to stand still and stab one another until one is dead.

As for the 360 version, I can't wait for that. I have quite a few friends that want to play conan, but don't have the PC power to play.

An active block button is also in conan, along with speed alteration skills. Allowing you to strafe/move faster.

I hear the 360 version is out this coming year, hopefully they have some new content by then before they release on the 360!

ah ok...as i can see i dont know much about AoC yet^^ but i´ve seen a lot of videos and i WANT IT!!! but yeah, my PC doesnt have the power too and i play more games on the 360...i heared from a good guy from a shop, that the game will come out between march and may 2009...and as i said: i will see you there then^^

holy chat that guardian sucks, was he even doing any thing other than swings his sword wildly? wow, that lvl 35 guard needs to put his head between his tail and run home to mommy, getting killed not only by a lvl that is 10 lvl lower, but by a class that is very squishy

You forget to mention that it's okay to lose to me, after all it's against Tokan - the pvp master. That guy did better than the 36 Guard I fought today on tokan (still lvl 25).
