Have you been living under a rock? Betrayl has been a theme in a majority of the games that have come out this year: Bioshock, Army of Two, Metal Gear Solid 2, GTAIV, (these 3 are technically 3rd person as well as 1st) Condemned 2, etc.

Btw this game is really bad- it's supposed to have been ground breaking but instead only came up mediocure at best, that's why people are pissed at the PS3 exclusive.
