I just recently got back into listening to Go Go, after being away from it for 17years. But this joint is cranking like crazy! Really don't like a lot of the new stuff.
That's alright. We here in Chicago don't get go go at all. Only very few of us know about go go and when I drove over the road as a truck driver in the mid to late 1990s everytime I went through DC I ran threw the radio stations listening to go go mixes. Only go go we knew here was EU's "Doin The Butt" , Chuck Brown's "Bustin'Loose" and Fatback Band's "I Like Girls" and if we heard rap on college stations they played rap with go go in it.

Don't really quote me, but I think Sequan might have been like 25 or 26 whengot killed. Either way, he was on his was andd so was the huck-a-bucks. Damn Fatal Attraction used to remind me of them since both bands used to crank and didn't curse.

I went to middle school wit Sequan, Lord Baltimore in Fort Wash. He died when we were in high school. can't remember the exact year but i went to his funeral...RIP Sequan...he was a nice person.
