in spite of what some people would have called a ravaged face,there was something erotic, and, even beautiful, about "pearl", janis joplin. i would have loved a tender moment with her. what a cool person,what a great heart, and what a wonderful deep spirit and soul.
I met Jim in a NY bar last year, not knowing who he was at the time and we spoke over drinks. He was such a nice person, genuine and humble. I feel lucky to have had that moment.
