Oh, damn, so close on the jump down the whirlpool! It looks as if there might be as much as two steps left when you jump, did you try closer? But I've seen at other "walkable" white water, if you try to walk right to the edge, Lara falls into the "washing machine death".
True, if you try to jump from the very edge, Lara can still die, even though she clearly starts jumping.
I tried at several angles, going through all different running jumps (Grab, flip, swan dive), but I simply couldn't get there. Swan dives seemed to give the best results though.
You can do the first one very fast if you approach from the left, then roll at the right moment... If you're lucky, you can reach the rock on the very first jump. But I only did it once by accident. Still, you can't finish the level with it, so... :(
That's an shame too. But I've got a question. I'm trying to speedrun the "Times Exlusive Level"of TR4 and i sometimes need to use a medipack. But can you use the shortcuts 9 and 0 to, to use it? Or do you have to show that you're using it? Cause the shortcut really saves some time!
Of course you can use the shortcut. But be careful, as some games around the TR4/TR5 engine can have a glitch, where pressing 9 uses a large medipack, but it doesn't restore health. I can't recall whether it's present in the Times Exclusive level though. Might not have been.
