  • I also was chucked out the RPH by that barman!! (see below).

    My brother was at RPHS about the same time as you - I was there also but left years earlier (74). Glad you enjoyed the video - first one I made!

  • I lived in Raynes pk from 1974 till summer 1990. Went to Hollymount primary for a year. then on to Bushey middle followed by a 3 year stint at Raynes pk high leaving in 1982. I live a long long way from the rail tracks of Raynes park now and thought I'd never miss them but I do. Listening to your song has made me want to make a return visit in the new year, Remember Les the boss eyed bar man at the rph? he barred me in to in 83!

  • I live in Raynes park now. good seeing this footgae. I was trying to put a date to when it must have been filmed. The only clue I had was the bus at 2m 44sec. Tomb Radier - so it must have been 2001. am i right? If that's the case it's changed alot in 8 years. The walkway betwen teh platforms didnt even have a roof back then!

  • Great stuff. born and bred in Raynes Park. The RPH was the first pub i ever got chucked out of. i was only tryingto play that new high tech video tennisgame and all !!! How comes the 93 bus went literally everywhere i SouthLondon/surrey.?

  • excellent my gran mrs blackman lived in cambridge road my grandad had an allotment at the end of cambridge road when i stayd with my gran pearents we went to beverly brook for swimming & picnics or go out for a day in london chessington zooor just ride the trains all day

  • i was born in tooting hosp...lives in wimbledon,raynes park,then moved to motspur.....i love raynes park i spent most of my time there wen i was younger n lot of my fam are of the carters estate .....do u know my step dad martin hollands or gary hollands or my real dad liecter finch...i love soth west 20...big up urself nuff respect to ya ...we love merton so many memories...that italian food shop in w.chace is still there
