In fighting these guys, I just use a Sniper with mastered Assassin techniques, and Blood Price- so I can use Ultima Masher every turn (Support items from another character) and hit any square I want- try it out- It's a great strategy.

Oddly enough, did the kings at 10, 24, 30, 34, 35. Seemingly the back dum-rush tactic with anything at a range worked for the first 4, and simply used stop on the 5th. Never got to the last bit, seeing as everyone's posting their numbers and whatnot. (Note: this was on hard...which probably shouldn'tve been my first choice on the first run, but hey, how many games have you getting reamed by bunnies for 30 minutes when you're 5 minutes into the game?

For something truly devestating- Illusionist/seer utilizing dual weild and magick frenzy.... with many level ups as a paravir for that ungodly attack gain, and some from the black mage. Have dual weild. Feed him a ether with some class that is fast and can use items, and have a fast juggler (leveled as chocobo knight for ungodly speed) smile toss him..... Now watch as you 3hit ko everything on the map... And if you have more than one unit that can quicken....

It only gets harder from there. Every Cinquleur bill, the opponent advances 11 levels. Starts at level 44 and goes up to 88. Once you beat the 88 White King, you unlock the Rank 99 mission, where you fight all 5 Kings at level 99! (I've beaten that mission both on Normal and Hard, as well as Brightmoon Tor on Normal and Hard)

But by the rank 99 mission I can assume your characters would be really good at that point

Actually, not so much. The 5 Kings can be beaten as low as level 55, but you have to bring Ultima-based abilities to even the battlefield, such as mastered Ultima Charge (Moogle Knight) on a Fusiler and Ultima Mashers on bow-equipped Assassins. And also, obviously bring people knowing Raise/Arise; Evade Magick will also help a lot since most of the Cinquleur clan likes to use various Magicks.

Or you could get a Summoner to learn Carbuncle and put Reflect on your entire party. That helps too.
