  • This is very beautiful! ^_^

your voices are very beautiful on Kitkat's instrumental! <3

  • @UnicornWannaDance : Thank you Melody!

  • I just love to listen to you...

  • @XChaoticComposerX : Thanks!

  • This is very good indeed! :)

  • @Maxridex : Thank you!!

  • @prislsl : Thank you!!

  • I definitely think your two voices have created the harmony I had in mind when I worked on this instrumental^^

You made something happening in my heart, something beautiful and deep, meaningful ^____^

  • @MzKittyKate : Thank you very much!

  • hi girls, trois, said what i couldn't say. she reminded me. this is what i mean by breathing from the stomach.

Well... Get them to take air close to the diaphragm (which is the upper part of the stomach) — they should feel the tension there, and not at the throat.

hope you can understand this better. it helps when you switch notes & make you less breathless when u need to hit a high note.

  • Mixing is great — first voice is tender, but pitching is off. Second voice has good pitching and sounds quite happy, but could do with a bit of expression necessary for the song. Timing is off towards the middle of the song, but you guys got it back.

Keep on singing, and I trust both of you will get there! ^_^

  • @TroisNyxEtienne : Thank you for your critique! I think I always have a problem with getting the right pitch. Is there a way to improve it? Thanks! :)

  • @kikiworld10: Heh, don't mention it ^_^ The best way I can think of would be to go through with someone who knows the tune, and/or is pitch perfect. The instrumental for the piece can help a bit — there's a melody track somewhere, and I can hear it, but it's faint. Try comparing the pitch of your voice to that, and if they do sound the same, pitch-wise, then you're good to go.

  • @TroisNyxEtienne : Okay. Thanks! :)

  • i think u need work, when u change notes. a bit shaky. 2nd singer voice is strong but 2 stiff. sounds like she's just reading it fast & a bit unnatural.

sorry if i said anything 2 offend any1. nice job on the mix, i like it.

this is my own opinion, others may like it just fine, but i'll not lie & get ur hopes up high 4 a fall. with some work, u gals can b great.

  • @11dreamingofu : Thank you for your advice! :)

  • @kikiworld10 u welcome ^_^ glad u gals r not upset w/my comment. if & when u r ready, i can recommend some1 else 2 listen 2 ur song. may b she is better 2 give ya a straight answer. a stranger is best in giving u an honest answer & may b able 2 express what i am lacking in wanting 2 say.

  • @11dreamingofu : That would be nice...I definitely want to learn how to improve on my singing. :) Thanks!

  • @kikiworld10 well i do have some1 in mind. i came about her by some1 else site that wanted my opinion. my opinion may b bias a bit & may not come out with an answer that will help u improve where u need improvement. so when u r ready go send ur work 2 this person. troisnyxetienne's channel. good luck ^_^

  • @11dreamingofu : Thank you! :)

  • @kikiworld10 u welcome. fighting! ^_^

  • @11dreamingofu That second person would be me and since this is the first time am singing Cantonese in my whole life I don't sound native but I did try my best haha. Don't worry u didn't offend me! Love u!!:)

  • @EverisingStar1 well, i guess that explains it, a bit. yeah, it sounds like u were having a problem singing it. i thought it was ur breathing. well then u should stick 2 ur own language that u r comfortable with. cos d break/hesitation makes it sound not so good. ^_^

  • @11dreamingofu I understand ur argument but if I don't try then I won't ever improve and I want to give my chance to do this as I do speak a little Cantonese in everyday life as well. And ouch sorry to say so but that did hurt.

  • @EverisingStar1 no, i don't mean to give it up, but work on ur own language 1st. work with what you are comfortable first. then when your Cantonese improve, you will find singing it easier and smoother.

i'm so sorry. didn't mean it for it to hurt your feelings. i don't want to lie and then some 1 else comes along & tell you. if i offend ya, i'm sorry., but you must keep your chin up & keep working at it. you girls have potential. and cos you love to sing, you can do it.

  • @11dreamingofu Never mind la it's fine am overeacting haha. Thnx for ur support always and ur enthusiasm to help us become better singers thankyou!!(^ ^)

    Sorry Kiki for previous comments!!

  • @EverisingStar1 nope, i'm the one to say sorry. no kind of offense to either one of you.

one last thing i do want to say is that i remember my daughter's music told my girls that if you record your own singing & listen to it with an earphone then you may be able to pick up the notes where you may need improvement. hope this will help.

good luck & i'll be rooting for you two to do well & become famous so i can brag that i know you gals.

  • @11dreamingofu : Thanks for all these advices!

  • @kikiworld10 oh you welcome, just glad that you don't hate me by what i said. hope i can be a help with my words, of some wisdom but lol, really half remember advice from my school days. wish you both good luck. ^_^

  • @11dreamingofu thnx ur so sweet and great advice will try doing that from now on!! So headphones as opposed to listening to recordings outloud right? X

  • @EverisingStar1 yes. ^_^ cause it will eliminate other sounds & you can focus on what you are singing & hear clearly & not so distracting on recording. you can also try sing with the ear phone on as well as recording it at the same time. like for example, i use to play my favorite singer's song & follow their lead & try to copy them. then you see it makes it more competitive or motivate ya to keep up. ^_^

  • @11dreamingofu Sure I will give that a try!! X

  • Ohh, nice collab! Both of your voices sounds great!

I love the parts where you both sang differently xD
