I dont know if anyone else notices these things but this song is filmed in one take. I love that you can see even the stagehands are transfixed. It's cute that the Director Blake Edwards is her husband in real life and it shows on camera that he loves the woman. And who wouldn't?x

if you listen to her voice here in the film and then listen to it in the Broadway production. It sounds a lot deeper, mature and a little husky in the Broadway production where as here in the film it sounds like it more or less did in thoroughly modern millie or SOM. Love this song!

Even though this is almost a full year AFTER your post, I had to respond directly to you and say how right you are. The simple 360 pan around Ms. Andrews with the single spotlight allowing the audience to fully absorb and digest the wonderful 'crazy' ballad is a testimony to not only the talent of the leading lady, but the lady's director, who in this case is her husband. Absolutely stunning.
