I like how that the aliens are trying to destroy us, but at the same time, it's for the greater good. You can't really tell which side you're on. And the incidental music is really impressive and creepy!

Had there been a MUCH bigger budget, higher-quality actors, better script-lines (and maybe a better ending) this movie would've been a CLASSIC!

Still, you can't help laughing at the hilariously bad production values.

It's pretty addictive to watch in a way.

I had to view it twice before I realized the stand-in for Bela Lugosi was supposed to be Lugosi. It took me 5 viewings before I realized that Eros plan to kill the people that walked into the space ship made absolutely no sense because they were the ones that knew why aliens had come to Earth and by knowing this they could have SAVED the Earth.

And also, what was most confusing was that at the end of it, the Earth would have to be destroyed!

Watch "Ed Wood" by Tim Burton, you'll appreciate this movie even more. You have to realize that the director would shoot 30 scenes a day (while most directors only shoot a maximum of one scene a day) and refused to do retakes even if there obvious errors. It's a great movie to watch if know anything of Ed Wood's personality.
