  • Nice video Steve. As a broker since 2004 I am tired. Yes, I owned my own brokerage and I was also a Remax Agent. Unfortunately, after three car accidents

    I had to close my doors. I am well now but I lost a fortune. I will be back.

  • @pcuncle wrong. he owns his own business and works 100hrs/week and spends $60,000+/week on advertising he told us in a previous video so i would say he is the perfect example of a top agent.

  • It seems some have had bad experiences with agents and if your not happy with yours find another! As a new agent I believe in giving the utmost respect to my clients and will work for them. Not every house is a match and you need to listen to your clients always and give them time to make a decision! Good luck to those house hunting!

  • this guy and people like him are why we are in a recession right now, i cant believe he said the things he said,he is basically saying to trick people into buying a more expensive house then they can afford so that you get a bigger commission,what a piece of shit,that is exactly why so many people are losing there homes,realtors and bankers getting people to focus on the monthly payment and disregard things like two separate interest rates (80/20 loan)interest only and adjustable rates.

    nobody forces them to buy a house. they have to make sure what they can afford before sighing papers and all crap but some agents hide a lot of truth about hidden fees and people just can't struggle and unfortunately give up. DON"T HAVE MONEY, DON"T BUY IT. As simple as that

  • @rthomas003 We're not in a recession because families got loans they couln't afford. We're in a recession brats with well-off parents were trying to play the system by taking out loans to try to flip houses in popular areas and raise the price later to get richer, and it didn't work. They were stuck with a mortgage on a house no one wanted, including them; and they walked away without paying and went back to daddy's house. Look at the areas hit the worst as proof : Florida, Arizona .

  • I am a real estate agent myself, i would never give a client advice on finance. I am not qualified to do this and i never want someone to turn around and say i cannot afford my house becuase you gave me wrong information. My job is purely to list and sell houses, To take buyers through the house and sell it so both parties are happy. Thats it. Its not hard. 3 rules of real estate, prospecting, networking, passion. There is no other way to be the best.

  • I work in Montreal, Qc with an agent older than me, We do door to door, FSBO's, expired listings, always in person if possible. He told me once: only 5% of agents are listing agents, and only 5% of agents do what we do. I understood right away what he meant. Steve, agents don't succeed because they don't work! I knocked on a door once and the woman told me we were the first agents to come to her door in 5 years. She called us back 3 weeks later and we sold her house in a matter of days.

  • Man, I wished I lived in America. I am carefully planning and finding a Real Estate office to start my career. I would work under a guy like this and learn his trade.

  • What drives me nuts about some realtors is while you are looking at the house thinking and picturing yourself in the house in the long run. The realtor is busy running his/her mouth about this and that and that is one of the things that can push a person away. Realtors, Give a person a chance to think and allow the couple to talk between themselves without interuptions. If the house is as good and you claim, the house will sell itself.
