@LKJNTEJ , I wasn't allowed anyone in the xray room with me, but there were four really nice a reassuring nurses, and the doctor who performed the hsg. x
Hi, when they insert the speculum so that they get a good view of your cervix and then they insert a thin catheter up to the opening of your cervix. They then apply a little suction with a little machine to ensure there is no leakages and that the catheter holds in place. It was slightly uncomfortable when they applied the suction but was bearable. Some people tend to make a big deal over it but it's quick and not that bad at all. x
hi ya just wondering did u have a catheter ? and when they release the fluid dye where do they release it in its not where ur catheter has to go is it im more scared about thinking of having a catheter thanks
did you get pregnant eventually im scheduled a hsg im so nervous iv had 2 rounds of clomid and i havent ovulated, x

I had one today...It was uncomfortable as hell....I have a tilted cervix which made it very unpleasant..

The dye is injected into your uterus, I couldn't feel a thing when they did this
