Barack, strike while the iron is hot. Pick Edwards and Michelle Obama, yep, ur wife as two VPs. With Edwards' love child making and Michelle telling us America sucks ur giving us the MTV, Spring Break, global-appeasing dream ticket served San Francisco weird. Do it now, man!
JESUS IS LORD! KENTUCKY, OREGON Thanks for the gifts of fellowship and friendship when we come together and truly love GOD. YOU hold us in YOUR HANDS ! YOU love us.We know YOU send us signals, unexpected proofs and guidance. We believe YOU have allowed us to find out THE WOLVES in TIME to stop THE MADNESS! WE ARE people of FAITH! it would seem very odd to have an obama-clinton ticket. would we be able to collectively forget all of clinton's attacks on obama? how could she convince us that she didn't really mean what she was saying for months and months, about him being an elitist, about him being too close to wright and farrakhan and ayers and everything else?
notice though, that both Dem candidates have been very careful in recent times to not slag on each other, just in case they Have to both be on the bill to beat McCain
I think that John Edwards wants to be the VP. He has been careful to ride the fence deliberately so that he could be in a position to garner the VP slot. I think Obama would choose Edwards just to get out of choosing Hillary but he can't be perceived as being negative about Hillary because that will turn her supporters against him.
I can't see Edwards as VP at all. BO needs to pick someone who can help him carry a critical swing state like PA or Ohio. Edwards couldn't even carry his homestate for the Dems when he ran as Gore's VP.
With all due respect, I don't see Mr. Obama playing the "I'm first" card as much as Mrs. Clinton. Even during the whole Rev. Wright cycle, he didn't once say he was being picked on just because he was black. I respect that. I admire Hillary for her tenacity, but it seems as if the Dems have grown somewhat tired of the Clinton "machine".

Obama has to pick somebody to take votes from McCain - HILLARY DOES NOT DO THAT!
Sure, there are very LOUD sore-losers in the Clinton camp that threaten to go to McCain, but they aren't the needed swing voters - are they?

I'd be very disappointed if he chose Hillary. I've lost all respect for her during this campaign.

Hillary Clinton is a whore.

After what the Clinton camp had done I'd doubt that BO would want her as a running mate.

that would spell disaster for the ticket.
she could not be trusted, and would have her own agenda.

This is a perfect example of why I like Obama. His answer was very well thought out, tactful, decent and statesmanlike.
