  • "You can do something and help the poor or u can do nothing which contributes to the problem.

  • send this to the TBN prosperity pimps, and see how they spin it,

  • we must not only help by sending money to a charity, Frankly i do not because it has become a business, i try to help the poor directly, And let us not FORGET, the POOR IN SPIRIT, WHO ARE DYING WITHOUT ACCEPTING THE LOVE OF JESUS,

  • Everyone can help someone, even if you are

    poor.

  • thanks for published this kind of video

  • howl and weep you rich for you have recieved your consolation! Luke

  • we done see what is around and think of ourself first

  • even though im not a believer in any kind of religion i still try to live and lead a good life and help those who cannot help themselves but, i will not support anyones habit

most of the homeless in our country are homless because of their lack of wanting to do anything with their lives. most are drug addicts and alcoholics. and when they put that "im suffering face" on and ask you for a dollar here or two dollars there they are really just saving up to get a bottle of bukoff or to get some rok

  • The problem is that there are all these :dishonest" American (LOL DISHONEST is the definition of America), and one finds it difficult to help the poor sometimes.

Anyone know of organizations one can volunteer for?

  • The perverse American stance is to "murder the poor and needy."

  • what a very sad video to see. thanks for sharing. i can only include those poor people in my prayer and that is what i used to do every night. i don't have much to give to them as i am not rich, but thinking and include them to my prayers is the best i can do.

  • "

I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." (John 8:12b, NIV) As we continue working to end the suffering of destitute families, we know that it is Christ Himself whom we serve. Your generosity is a true reflection of God's love and helps shine the Light of Christ into the darkness of poverty and despair.

  • "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." (John 8:12b, NIV) As followers of Christ, we should not tire of doing good. Even when the load is heavy and the darkness of poverty and suffering seems overwhelming, we have the Light of Christ as a lamp to light our way. Our faith enables us to continue bringing relief to our poorest brothers and sisters

  • Very touching video my friend. I will ad it to my favorite. My prayers, Peace and God bless

  • I'm poor by American standards, owning no home or car, nor savings acct. As I was coming home from church one Sunday, I stopped at the 7-11 & there was Margaret, a local elderly homeless woman, squatting near the entrance. I'm rich by her standards & most in the world. I gave her some money & thought what incredible piercing blue eyes she has. It occurred to me that many of the local homeless have those same piercing eyes. In those eyes...I see the One who was cradled in a food trough.

  • nice !! it makes u search with in u, and see if ur really a christian

  • Very Important video my Friend!

    God Bless,

    Jim

  • Yes....Haiti...I think the poorest country in the world. This grieves me so.

Cross International (dot) org... their website is accepting emergency relief funds....give as much as you can in the name of the One who gave it all.

  • Pray for Haiti and give as our Lord leads. Most of us are not rich but we can give. Our prayers can also release others to give and also help this nation and people to seek and find our Lord. Haiti has Christian ministries that are true labors of love and God has been reaching these precious lives. A corrupt goverment for centuries we pray will be no longer! For this nation and their sufferings and their need for Jesus, send your word Lord and deliver them from all destruction!

  • Let us give what we are able to the needs of Haiti as this nation truly is one of the most poorest of nations in our world. The government has had a tradition of corruption for centuries. There are those who have brought hope to Haiti through Christian ministries true labors of love. Now this Island nation already so impoverished is going through heart ache and suffering with so much death and destruction. Their need is great let us pray and let us give in Jesus name, He will lead us.

  • There are places in our large city that no one could believe that this is in the USA, the poverty is so real! We must do what we are able to do to help others, where ever in the world, as Jesus clearly taught us who is our neighbor when asked by His disciples and He gave the parable of the Good Samaritan. Wow. that saids it all! Remember the Widows mite, we all can give and share, it all adds up and the Lord does meet our needs in so many ways, no need to fear rest in His perfect love!

  • I was driving down the street in the city that I live in and I saw the school bus drop off a small boy dressed poorly holding his homework running into the homeless shelter and I cried all the way home.

  • If you have a heart of God you cannot help but cry at this video. I can only do so much to help others but I hope one day that God will tell me good and faithful servant. Lets not forget the less forturnate!

This video should move everyone to do something, thanks for sharing!!

  • @pamw13 Thank you for your insightful comments.I was really burdened in my heart to make this video. The love of God in us will do something to help the poor!Bro.David.

  • All Christians must provide for the poor, it is a spiritual calling which manifests through love... It rips my heart apart to see anyone in need... God Bless You.

  • There was never meant to be this "them and us" in God's plan. God did not invent poverty - mankind did that.

We are meant to share what we have. A big house and lots of possessions, quite useless when a person is lonely and sad.

People curse themselves when they refuse to share God's blessings.

  • Thanks for sharing this video.

  • Please I mean no disrespect to anyone.

When the Lord Jesus feed the five thousand

He didn't question ONE TIME who they were

or what they looked like. He had compassion

    on them.

Lord God give us this same compassion

you have to be the same to all !!

Bless this man of God to keep doing your will

In Jesus' name! Love you Poster in Christ!!

  • Grace & Peace This is heartfelt. Thank you poster for sharing! What I'm about to say is the truth. We have people in "The Body of Christ that come to church every Sunday & are in Homeless shelters & are hungry ! But dear not speak because of gossip & shame Yes we have to feed the world, BUT remember our brothers & sisters in Christ who are sitting in the church every week who are HUNGRY & NEEDY & HOMELESS!! LET"S FEED EVERYBODY !! Sister Nova LOVE:( LOVE:(
  • Thanks for This video , made in oerder to help my continet AFRICA !

God bless you 100x AMEN !♀♀♥♥♥♀♀

    Jean from AFRICA / SENEGAL

  • The needs in Africa are great. What is needed is for folks to seek Christian ministries whom really gets the needs to the people in the different nations in Africa and all over this world. If folks stop giving to corrupt governments and war lords and such but get it to the needs of the people Africa and other nations will see the hope they so need. Our prayer is for the needs to be met and the corrupt stopped from their ill gains and evil towards the needs of the dear people.

  • I mean, every time when we eat dinner, we are always served an amazing & delicious meal. I always wish I had the ability to teleport myself to the poorest child in Africa and give them my meal.

I have been always been able to enjoy delicious meals, poor people haven't.

  • YOU CAN HELP THE CHILDREN OF Africa if you want it really ♀♀♥♥♥♀

Jean / Tha Harmonica School of Dakar /AFRICA

  • Thank God for the video and you for you are his instrument. God bless, keep up the good work.

  • Wealthy people often look down their noses at poor people. Wealth goes to their head and they genuinelly feel as if they are superior to people with smaller bank balances. Christ's message was one of love and unselfish giving. These selfish hoarders of wealth are living a life contrary to what Christ taught and they are in need of our prayers just as much as these poor hungry souls in the video.

  • Sadly, the 1611 translators rendered mishpat (Hebrew) as righteousness, not justice (the sense of shalomic wholeness). In the English speaking world, righteousness not justice and mercy is the attribute most naturally associated with God. Righteousness is a part of justice, and there is no justice without righteousness. But righteousness is easily limited to the domain of personal ethics.

Very different is the corporate ethic in the Mic 6:8 summary of the law.

    Blessings!

  • Please read and meditate on the scriptures in this video. They are so clear. Our compassion must be real and active and not just words. You can influence others to help the poor by sharing this video with them!!

  • aflame4God, thanks for this moving video, as besides prayers, how about those of us who can 'donate' clothing, food supplies, 'shoes', 'time', etc. to organizations that help them in the process? I've been seriously thinking about going to Africa and other nations to help out in that manner as well. I'm sure "anything" we can do to help would be very glady appreciated. Thanks aflame and God bless.

  • awe I feel horrible for these people. May the Lord Jesus protect them and supply them with their needs. I want to help these people. =(

  • Please don't feel horrible for them; they would not want that. But instead, accept a measure of their pain. Then we can stand beside them and advocate for them, as we should.

    Blessings!

  • may the Lord Jesus put it in people's hearts to help the poor and needy, and spread the Gospel. May we all show the love Jesus had to those who need, to these who thirst, to those who hunger, blessed are those. Jesus bless them

  • James 2:14-17; What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith saves him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food. And one of you say unto them, Depart to peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give him not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

  • Thanks, favourited.

May Jesus bless you and all the needy and those who help the needy, in whatever need they are.

    JEZUSTUBE †♥†

  • Awesome video Dave. This has touched my hart. Bless you brother! Love the native Amarican flute as well. 5***** and faved.

  • Yes we are to help the poor and the lost and those who are suffering.

    God Bless

  • Deut.15:7-8"If there is among you a poor man of your brethren..you shall not harden your heart nor shut your hand from your poor brother, but you shall open your hand wide to him and willingly lend him sufficent for his need, whatever he needs." This is a very awesome passage that reveals the heart of God and our duty to the poor.

  • Have Mercy on us Lord Jesus, please!

and for those who are able to give... let's give!

God has put a heart of Love in us for all the little children, for every Mama and Daddy that want to see their children healthy and happy!

  • Is. 58:10. "And if you give yourself to the hungry, and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then your light will rise in darkness, and your gloom will become like midday. And the LORD will continually guide you, and satisfy your desire in scorched places, and give strength to your bones; and you will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail."

  • May almighty God have mercy on our selfish souls. May we all follow Jesus in the hearts of the poor. Blessed are they!

  • the EARLY CHURCH KNEW the TRUE GOSPEL...

LIVE FOR YOUR NEED...FORSAKE ALL YOUR SELFISH AMBITIONS AND SERVE THE LORD's WILL.

if we lived like this there would be less poor as we would STOP supporting the business that extort these people to provide us with GARBAGE IDOLATRY, NEEDLESS LUXURIES & TOYS!!

But keep feeding the system YOU LOVE people of GOD & wonder why this WILL NEVER change.

BECAUSE WILL REALLY DON'T WANT TO DO IT GOD's WAY

    SHAME ON US!!

WE WANT OUR CAKE AND TO EAT IT TOO!

  • Yes you are right about the word 'poor in spirit' in the sermon on the Mount.Whereas the scriptures in this video are speaking of those who are literally poor and destitute and lacking in the most basics of material provisions.

  • This is a poem I wrote for homework. It's about Black Friday, which in America is the biggest shopping day of the year since everything is on sale. Many people get very greedy on this day. We need to think of the needy this Thanksgiving and Christmas season, not just ourselves.

The day after a pleasant Thanksgiving, after we have given thanks, Most of the mens wives quickly scurry to the banks,Cashing checks and withdrawing money, They want so much more, not just to fill their tummy...

  • Continuation:

Busy Black Friday is here and to Best Buy we go,

Not even stopping to say hi to people we know,At the mall we smell the sweet scent of perfume,All while watching frustrated mothers with their shopping carts zoom,While poor people around the world are sitting in doom. Some people are greedily camping out at 1 a.m.,Not caring that in a few hours people may be trampled in front of them And the one great sadness of it all,Is that some people are not thankful,Not very thankful at all.

  • This is a fantastic poem thats says it all about our very greedy culture.Last year a young security guard was trampled to death at a Wal-Mart due to a mass od greedy shoppers running through the door to waste their money on things they do not 'need.'

  • Blessed are the poor in Spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven...

The word "poor" is translated from the Greek stem word"ptochos"and it is also translated"beggar"in other places. As Christ speaks in parables, this should teach us about our spiritual condition against the holy requirements of the commandments of God according to the letter of the law.We are spiritually bankrupt and our righteousness is as fithy rags.Praise God for His Son.He says,"follow Me".

Be merciful to me, a sinner!

  • RadioTrunews...we should feel guilty if we do not help the poor! 25 us dollars a month can save a life with food and education! That is not pouring money down the drain! IF THE DUST COMES BACK YOU KEEP CLEANING YOU DONT STOP.We cannot blame the global elite while we sit back and do nothing.Your givng does make a difference when you give from the heart .

  • Romans15:26 'For it pleased those from Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints who are in Jerusalem."Acts10:4"The angel said,'Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial before God.'The Lord recognizes our acts of compassion.

  • The chucrch has some serious responsiblities that they are not fulfilling.2John3:17 "If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him,,how can the love of God be in him.?To refuse to give of our food, clothing or money is to close our hearts to them.

  • I watched this video with tears in my eyes. What a moving presentation of the call that God has placed on us to reach out to those less fortunate. It is so easy to look the other way and leave it up to someone else to take care of, but in essence God has called us in His Word to bear one another's burdens and thereby fulfill the law of Christ. We can do this in so many ways and in doing so we honor our Lord. The pictures touched me deeply and the scriptures pierced my heart. Thank you!!!!!

  • You will always have the poor.

Judas who pretended to care was set right by Jesus, trying to focus their attention upon Him, because you will always have the poor, probably meant they will always be there to help, where as they would not always have Him arounf.

Interesting the global elite have so much money they could wipe being poor out in an instant.

But sadly they won't and hold on to their greed and continue to serve the God of money and satan.

Sign of the times I'm afraid.

  • It's very difficult, we can feel guilty, but if we give up everything and join them, then we can not help them.

Like children in need, I'd give if I thought it would solve something, but like cleaning the dust comes back.

I'm not saying we should not bother or not care, don't get me wrong, but like pooring money down the drain, when the global elite sit on so much and can utilize that for resources to help them.

But they'd rather see them die, and decrease the surplus population, tragic eh.

  • God meets my needs and then He uses us to meet the needs of the poor ! So many believers do nothing and give nothing! Where is the love and compassion? Do we have an excuse to be cold and heartless? No! The scriptures make is so obvious that it is our duty to help the destitute.Great video and very toouching.

  • im currently living in singapore , and they dont have people sleeping on the streets. in my hometown in indonesia, there's manyyy of em. they're everywhere. i wish to help but i dont know how to. im not familiar with the place and i dont know how i can help them. My mom and dad would always scold me everytime i try to talk to them. and i visit my hometown only once a year. :o

And how do i show compassion? what exactly does it mean? :/

  • Thanks so much for sending me this touching and important video...Heart breaking to watch and a grim dose of reality how fat as a nation we truly are!! Lords blessings~

  • During 'THANKSGIVNG' here in the USA we believers will enjoy being with faminly, friends alot of fellowship and large amounts of food. This is a blessed time but let us remember the sriptures and pictures in this video.Make a plan to do your part in touching the lives of the poor in a real practical way.Let us not look away and avoid their misery.

  • YES Bro David! well said! I live in colon panama and some people cant even afford a turkey for thanksgiving but will be having rice and sausages. The people of GOD in the USA can reach out in their abundance but wont because of that spirit of greed and love for money that permeates them. Thanks for the scriptures it makes me feel better in my work over here in colon! GOD BLESS

  • My heart goes out i always tried and help other i volunteer at my church twice a week feeding the homeless, therefore i say unto you what things soever you desire, when ye pray, believe that you ye recieve them, and ye shall have them Mark 11:24!! God Bless.

  • God bless you as you minister to the homeless it is very rewarding diong what you do.Bro.David.

  • If we pray, then we should expect an answer. We may not particulary like the answer, because it may seem too frightening to do what God wants us to do.

But if God asks us to do something He ALWAYS will give us the means to do it.

You have to step out in faith.

Just giving money is not enough, because of the thieves. We have to give ourselves. We can only help the poor by giving ourselves to God, to be His hands, feet, mouth.

It seems scary, but its ok.

  • It is no use just praying for the poor. We also need to challenge the corruption and greed that is at the heart of all this misery.

People ARE giving generously, there are so many generous and lovely people, but there are tares amongst the wheat, as Jesus said, so it is.

Jesus told us not to be afraid of the wicked, to be bold. We have the authority to challenge corruption; we must use it.

  • I have seen the homeless people being hosed in the middle of the night, how can the people at the very bottom of the pile be treated in such a dispicable way? They are treated as if they were scarcely human, no, even animals get more compassion than the destitute, and I am talking about the poor in Great Britain. If we treat our own thus, it reflects badly upon us as a society.

  • This is so tragic to hear.Theses are not sewer rats they are humans of need of real help. Most just want to avoid this problem while they pamper their pets who eat better and live in better conditions than they poor.

  • Some of us want to help so much. But when we give to charity, we find that wicked people are stealing all the money, and actually making things even harder for the poor.

We actually have had politicians telling us that we must not give money to poor people, because the State helps them. But it isn't true, the poor people are getting oppressed and even murdered by some of those people who are paid wages to look after them.

  • There is a big problem here where I live. We have Romanian immigrants who come and are treated like street trash. Despised because of their extreme poverty. I fear fora land who is so hard to the poor. God's word comes true.

  • This is horrible indeed. They are human beings who need help in many ways. For many their poverty is beyond their control and circumstances. We must show mercy!

  • Nice video

Praying for all the poor and need .

    Help them

  • Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile.Love means to give.We must help each other and treat all the people with gentleness and compassion.

Thank you for this touching video and may God bless you for your goodness.

  • "Be an angel to someone else whenever you can,as a way of thanking God for the help your angel has given you".- Eileen Elias Freeman.

Put yourself in someone else's place, and see how it feels. It's our duty to help the poor, especially the innocent children and all the people that need our help.

  • Amen and what you have said is so helpful...."Its our duty to help the poor." All of us can do something and bring joy to a person who is suffering.God bless you.Bro.David.

  • Beautiful! Truly!

  • ...yes Bro. David, I agree 100%. How sad one would feel if everyone exhanged gifts with everyone else on their birthday and ignored or forgot about them. That's what CHRISTmas does to JESUS. Giving gifts is ok but there are millions with basic needs not greeds. JESUS would prefer us to help the unfortunate instead of spending wildly on the latest gidgets, gadgets and knick knacks. Loving and helping the poor is the present that JESUS' wants...benevolence should be a part of our lives daily!

  • Icompletely agree this video echoes my sentiments exactly , Dublin is full of our brothers sitting and sleeping on the ground whats wrong with this world always will remain , it will not change the poor will always be with us and everything is relevant i detest the new greed that came with the economic boom we had nothing too lose and lost nothing but the moaners who made money they think they are hard done by, sad and sick society , God bless xxxxxxxxxxxs Cathy

  • Opps... meant a person doesn't have to have MUCH to bless! Sorry!

  • A person doesn't have to bless. If one has $5.00, there's always someone with .only 50 cents. If we put others first, GOD will take care of our needs. GOD wants to bless but we must seek His kingdom (souls) first and then all things shall be added to us. The bless me prosperity messages are distractions from the real gospel. JESUS gave His life...certainly we can all do our part (sharing meals with needy neighbors, helping at shelters etc). and give to the least of our brothers and sisters.

  • Great points you make! I struggle in my emotions during Christmas because of all the greed, waste and useless spending while many are crying out for 1 meal, clothes, shelter etc.And many poor believers in impoverished countries need our help and we ignore it.I have seen it up close and it is heart breaking. What do you think?

  • I feel so strongly about these poor people's needs & life conditions!!!!

No one should need to live in this kind of misery!!!!

We need to keep them always in our thoughts & prayers & if possible do all we can to help them.

    Splendid video!!!

  • I only wish everyone felt like you!We all have oppurtunities to give and help and show Mercy to those who are living in poverty.God bless you.Bro.David.

  • I always try do what i can for who is less fortunate than me!!!!

In Christmas my family sponsors a Christmas dinner for a poor family!!!!

Once again ThankYou for such a thoughtful video!!!!

  • I have seen people laugh at the poor

  • Great video!

  • Awesome video.

  • James2:2""For if therecome into your assembly a man with gold rings in fine apparel, and there should also come in a poor man infilthy clothes,vs4 and you pay attention to the one wearing fine clothes and say to hin,'You sit here in a good place,'and say to the poor man,'You stand there'or 'Sit on the floor by my feet." That is convicting because today the poor man in filthy clothes would be ushered out! Not even allowed in the service.Might stain their nice padded pews.

  • Thank you so much for all of the wonderful Scripture references that show God's heart for the poor!!!!

  • My Heart Aches for the Little Souls of Jesus Christ I encourage all of you Saved by the Blood of Jesus People to always include the defenseless Baby Jesus Souls in your Prayers AMEN!!

  • I've known many of preachers, very well off, wealthy Christians, that give ZERO to the poor, or even to buy them (the poor) a meal would be considered an offense to them, their attitude to justify them selves is, "if their poor their not blessed", America is in deep trouble, the rich man could have given Lazarus a small plot of ground and a tent, and food, he would have never missed it, but he chose not to help Lazarus, it's that attitude of exalting ones self, just plane selfishness.

  • You are exactly right! These prosperity pimps are full of self and sin and waste millions of dollars on luxeries while many lives could be saved but are not due to such arrogant waste!

  • Looking into the eyes of the poor, reminds me the love that our Lord so showed on the CROSS, for us....wonderfull video, may we meet those needs, as we see them. Buy some food items and place it into the plastic bag and keep them in the trunk of your car, when you run into those who are hungry, at least you can stop and give them that bag, full of food. I finded it good to share it that way....May we all pray for those poor and needy...

  • Great ideas Sungmee45...everyone who loves the LORD will ask the LORD"What can I do?" and say ,"Lord use me as a vessel of compassion to the poor and neey."

  • What can I say, rather what can i do! my God my God how long before you come and remove the candlestick of the wicked .

  • BEAUTIFUL VIDEO... I have reposted it for others and YES give to the POOR!

  • Amen!

    *****stars!

  • We must help the poor and needy.

  • ~WOW~

Brother DaVid, that was one of the Most Touching and Powerful Videos I have seen in a long time.

It sure rattled my chains and opened my eyes to my own negligence.

Also, King Solomon was certainly Blessed by the Wisdom of God. His writings are evidence of this, and evidence of the EXtreme Compassion of the Creator of the Universe.

One Proverb in the video really slapped me:

"We sin against the poor by overlooking them and not helping them in their distress".

    ~May God Forgive us all~

  • Very nice 5*

  • Thank you for sharing...very touching video...thank you...GBU

  • 5/5

  • We must take heed to the urgent message of this convicting video and not forget what we just saw.We must not just hear the Word but be doers of the Word. This video should change us all.

  • Thank you brother....this really makes you visualize matthew 25:31-46...whatever you do to the least of these you do to me....whatever you do not do to the least of these you do not do for me...

  • Amen you are so right. Our actions speak louder than our words. We must demonstrate our compassion.God bless.

  • David, your videos always cause me to search my heart and/or my motives......God bless you bro.

  • God Bless you aflame4God. This was beatiful and just reminded me how blessed I am and that I am not doing part in giving back to the best of my ability.

    Thank you

  • The goal of this video is to motivate ALL viewers to get involved and show compassion to the poor.Take note of all the great bible verses in this video. You can make a real difference.Share this with your friends.Bro.David.

  • The WORD OF GOD in this video, the pictures, the commentary tell us all what we should do and thats demonstrate the love of God in our hearts by helping those in dire need!!!!

  • When you watch this video over and over again it reall takes hold of you and makes you wonder why pastors never preach about the poor. The scriptures are so evident and plain!! This make all of us consider what are we doing with our money. How many gadgets do we need ?

  • Here is a simple example: In the summer of 2002 I collected 1,500 pounds of clothes and it was hard work doing it alone.I was able to send these large boxes by frieght to a small very poor village in the mountains of Dominica where it was freely given to the needy Caribs.God can give you good ideas and God will supply the money to reach out to the poor.

  • Awesome video and your message comes in loud and clear. The poor are everywhere and most of the world suffers and it is not because of drugs or laziness. They were simply born in a very poor country. Some are refugees due to their Christian faith and are driven out of thier village. When we see a need we should try to help.A little donation can go a long way in feeding a child and giving it an education.

  • This video breaks my heart, I couldn`t bear to watch it all. I agree, the Church spends way too much money on building extravegant Churches when that money could be put towards more ministries. We all must do our part to reach out to the outcasts of society. Great message, thank you. God bless your work.

  • We all can minister to the poor in a personal way and thru honest Christian ministries that get the job done and use the money to assist the desititute.Dont go thru secular agencies that work thru governments! We have no excuse in light of what the Bible says is our duty concerning the poor.Forget UNICEF and I know by experience if you want to help the poor you love will find a way to get it done.

  • I would prefer to give to local charities like the Salvation Army and others that help the poor in our communities.

  • Praise God for what you do!! If everyone did their part alot could be accomplished.God can use the widows mite when its given from the heart.Your comments are understood. We must be wise stewards of the money we have since it all comes from God.

  • Thanks! We also need to start raising real men. I have no respect for "men" that get a woman pregnant and then walk out on her. A lot of poverty is also caused by men that leave their wife and children. What choice does a woman have if she has three children to feed and her husband walks out on her? She is left to go on welfare and live in poverty.

  • In the wealthy free nations the welfare system has to become a lot more wise. Some poor people might get a bus pass from welfare and then trade it for alcohol or cigarettes. I have seen guys get food from the food bank and then try to sell it cheap on the streets so that they can get money for beer. If someone asks you for spare change for food then offer him food. In many cases he will walk away angry because he wanted your spare change for alcohol or drugs. We have to be wise.

  • The problem is that we have been giving food to the poor in Africa for the last 30 years.I remember as a child carrying a unicef box to collect money for the poor.Until we get rid of the corrupt governments in Africa and the rebel army forces we can't truly help these people. As an adult I learned that not everyone in Ethiopia lives poorly. There is water. So irrigation and farming is possible.

  • Agreed. The African governments, however, will lose their legitimacy. The African people will not sit forever and render themselves ravished via a political machine of pain.

  • The only way to turn things around in the African nations is to get rid of the corrupt governments and rebel army forces. In the USA, Canada, U.K etc we complain about corrupt government. However we have no idea what it is like to live under a truly corrupt government like in the developing nations.

  • Well that's what I was saying but I agree nonetheless.

As for corruption on the developed nations, yes and we should blow the whistle on any government, regardless of corruption index.

  • God bless you. I am not stupid. Yet I am not the brightest guy in the world. I will fight for what is right.

  • We, as well as others, should work together to accomplish this. :)

God bless you too. :) :)

  • you opened up my eyes about that. thank you.

  • I got the idea from listening to Canadian L. Gen Romeo Dallaire.

  • SHAKE HANDS WITH THE DEVIL

    The Journey of Roméo Dallaire

Try reading this book. This man has a lot of good things to say.

I have a lot of respect for this man.Even if he is French Canadian. Lol!

  • In Canada the French would cause a civil war. So do not go to deep into things. I would happily take up an AK 47 if the French chose to separate in Canada.

  • Yes this is a shame we see these big churches building fine churches for themselfs calling it the Lords work and his house. But yet not one poor child was bought into these churches for you have got to be dressed fancy in order to even be a part of them. I now understand now why God said come away from this world. God Bless You for this honest post.

  • Excellent comments...we in the USA do not want to worship in simple modest buildings, instead they take out huge loans with high interest rates and build ornate giant churches and waste tons of money. This money could build simple homes for the needy, supply alot of food, build houses of worship in 3rd world countries, provide wells with fresh water, provide needed operations etc.

  • We need to take care of the poor in our own nation and solve poverty. As far as I'm concerned the biggest reason for poverty in the wealthy free nations is addiction problems and poor money management. These nations in Africa need a miracle from the Lord Jesus Christ in order to turn things around.

Made me cry. I will help the poor in need! It is shameful to go and buy more clothing and new cellphones and more things that we dont really need while others just need a piece of bread who are starving and are in pain

  • @foontic23 Your comment is right on target. Our homes are crammed full of STUFF-STUFF-STUFF.We have fridges full of food and garages full of items we never use! Pairs and pairs of shoes! All the while people suffer and die each day for lack of food.Shameful!!

  • It's unthinkable that there are filthy rich people in the world whilst rafts of other people die of hunger!

  • @robbyveggett God bless you brother and thank you for sending this to your friends.Bro.David.

  • I loved this video....and let me say...we are told we sometimes entertain Angels unawares. Next time you turn someone down...it just might be an Angel of God. To be a Christian means to follow Him, His Teachings....It is not a social club. Reach out and help others...and not just on holidays...but everyday as long as there is a need...HaHo !

  • Thaks for sharing.

    Brother Don

  • Oft times churches make the big mistake of putting conditions to helping the needy. They make them fill out papers...they tell them they have to tend church service...or they have to be a member. Yehsua did not teach us to be that way...If you are a Christian, follow His (Yeshua's) teachings...read the Gospels...Yeshua did not put down conditions to helping the poor.

  • Thanks 4 speaking up 4 the poor and needy from a biblical perspective. May I please God in my giving and attitude towards the poor and needy. I thank God 4 having mercy and compassion on my family and me whenever we're in need.

  • Beautiful Video

It should make all of us feel ashamed because we have soo much and others so very very little. and yet we complain about all the things we want... We should count our blessings and share what we have with others, for only then can we truly find contentment and peace of mind.

When we do as Jesus Has done and is doing for us every day. Thanks soo much FOR REMINDING US.

    GOD BLESS YOU.

  • Very, Very, Very Good video. Actually, I would like to feature it on my page and website (once I finish redesigning it) with your permission. I have alot of Creflo Dollar, Eddie Long and Joel Osteen followers that should see this. Let me know. Again, I love it.

  • @digitalflava Yes brother feel free to use the video and to share it with many.Millions and millions of dollars wasted on the "cult of prosperity". Judgement day is coming!! Thank you for your kind comments.Bro.David.

  • YES! We need to care for the poor!! Thanks for reminding us! It doesnt matter how they got they way, Jesus never wants us to turn our heads... God bless you and this video!

  • So very true! Mercy and compassion is given freely to the poor from a caring loving heart!God bless you.Bro David.

  • If we all would memorize these important bible verses on the poor it would get us to see that this is close to the heart of God! We as Christians cannot overlook these God inspired scriptures. This is not a side issue with God.

  • I have been amazed to when we take a step of faith and the Lord blesses it beyond all belief, Jesus is awsome

  • Trouble is, we have poor in our own backyard, here at home. Our Veterans, in particular ... that is where my heart is. I know: if not for food stamps, this disabled Veteran and her disabled twin sister would not survive.

  • miracle working power of JESUSCHRIST.Salvations, healings, deliverances, lifes restored. There is nothing like seeing a crack prostitute, gang member, drug dealer,or anyone that is lost and without hope kneel down in the dirt and accept JESUS CHRIST as their Lord and Saviour and rise up a new creation in Christ!!!!Halleujah.

  • Amazing how the LORD opens doors of ministry when we reach out to the destitute with real God-inspired compassion.

  • Lam 4:9

9 They that be slain with the sword are better than they that be slain with hunger: for these pine away, stricken through for want of the fruits of the field.

My wife and myself worked with a homeless ministry for about 1 and a half yrs.Every wednesday night around 120 people from 10 different denominations would put away their differences and serve the homeless food and cloth them under a interstate bridge. The things we saw will crush your heart, but durning this time we saw the

  • A very awesome testimony.Yes poor and homeless hear in the USA and yes whole nations strickened with deep poverty and death.Starvation is more common in 3rd world countries than people realize.

  • excellent video. thanks. keep up the great work. we're almost home! ( =

  • this video is absolutely beautiful and totally necessary. It really made me quite tearful though. I feel that I am a wicked woman who does not give much at all. May God have mercy on me.

  • Whatever you give...give from the heart and God will be pleased.Ask the Lord to lead you to the right people to help. There is great joy as we reach out and minister to the destitute. We ALL can make a real difference.Bro.David.

  • Thank you for this video. I hope many will watch it and be moved by the Holy Spirit to rethink their biblical priorities.

  • Wow! The poor and the needy really need Christ in their lives. Great post! *****

  • Galatians2:10"All they asked was that we should continue to remember the POOR,the very thing I was EAGER to do."The poor reqiure our love, prayers and material assistance. We must be zealous for good works and helping the needy is one of them! We must reflect the heart of God who is full of compassion.

  • Jesus loves people who has sincere heart for the poor. And not abusing people for our own pleasure. God bless.

  • Thanks for this video, brother. Yes, God calls us to serve the poor, and not only the poor of things but also the poor of the knowlegde of God. God bless you and your ministry abundantly.

  • As someone simply said.......This is a huge WAKE UP CALL.This is not just a nice video, this video full of so much of Gods Word which demands action on our part.We cant claim ignorance concerning poverty. Will it move us enough to give and give again to help the poor!

  • This is a huge problem that nobody wants to talk about! Everyone should read Deut.15:1-15 you will see the loving heart of God on the subject of the poor!To have a spirit of greed and selfishness that ignores the poor is sin!Where is our compassion, our kindness our empathy? This video should be seen by many.

  • Thank you brother; the Lord be glorifed as we reach out and touch another soul in whatever way we are equipped to do. Blessed share my friend. God bless your ministry always.
