i think in order to bring back the beat-em up genre again..they would use battletoads as the front runners...i think that this is the only way they can do this if us g1's want to see battletoads one more time

actually live performances bypass copyright music problems. You only have to worry about royalties and copyrights if you decide to record the performance. So a live performance on CD/video will get you in trouble, but just "covering" the song at a venue will not get you in trouble.
