carrie scream? quite the contrary. She reaches ALL the notes WITH EASE. no straining or screeching. Also, her songs are so much harder to sing and handle-ONLY CARRIE can sing with such control in her amazing vocals. miranda who? oh please. it's one thing to have an opinion and preference to style of artist but it's quite another to have to stoop as low as to say such ridiculous things because of jealously. or maybe... it's ignorance. guess ignorance really is bliss.

Carrie co wrote about 5 or 6 songs on the Play On CD if I'm not mistaken. She isn't handed as many songs as you think, she has put in a lot of work on this album and it's only her 3rd. To each their own I guess, I'm not really a fan of Miranda. Carrie is the best country music artist out there imo, has a great variety of music, puts on a great show, and no one has a better voice.....NO ONE!

Listen to songs like Temporary Home, Just a Dream, Don't forget to Remember me, Wasted, So Small, etc

I guess i should listen to more of her songs but I am more of a fan of miranda lambert who writes 80% of her songs and sticks to her roots. Since Carrie is handed many of her songs if she were true to her roots I feel she would turn down many of these teeny bopper-sounding ones.  I may only be 21 but being a country girl raised in a household playing the banjo and listening to Merle really ruins me on these new artists. The sound is just to hip hop sounding for me :-(

Have you even listened to her CD's? She has a lot of variety in her music, she isn't a pop singer, she is most definitely country.
