@PlecoFreak Also have long fin and short fin of the red eyes, short fin blue eyes L144s, green dragons long fin, calicos long fin, long fin and short fin blacks
@PlecoFreak Also my fav. 6 L183 Star Lights.... Beautiful - my babies... These havent breed for me yet - need black water to breed - but we will be trying to breed them this spring...
Dose the female always come out more white, and the male is yellow?
Please I would like to know, my local pet store sells them at just about 6 to 9 months old, so would I be able to tell gender, or till they are older? I'm trying to get a female.
I also have a breeding pair, although the father is a pain in the backside every time they breed. They both breed in a big wooden cave thing of mine and when it comes to collecting all the babies the male is always on top guard with his spikes, he goes in a breeding tank now but he never lets them out of the cave, he blocks them in. Quite funny but somehow he brings food down to them so they survive, but in my community tank I have to scoop them up with a net or the other fish eat them.
The plecos were placed in the black container with water for video only - I couldnt get a video of them in their 50 gallon tank because it came out blurry...

They max out at about 5 to 7 inches... Best algae cleaners ever... Females are smaller then males...
