  • wheres this at?

  • what is downhill in Coffin hahahaha fucking crazyyy

  • @portu177 luge its called, lol, it was made before longboarding, and one inspiration for a longboard other than surfing i believe.

  • i would totally do that course. is it open year round? and its private and only for longboarding?

  • oh how I wish I could do this. maybe when longboarding gets big and there is a slalom race every other weekand, yeah that'll be the day

  • that looked like soooooo much fun

  • @PasadenaLocalSkaters i think top speed is 42 mph i THINK

  • LADIES AND GENTLEMEN PATRICK SWITZER IS GOING VERY FAST

  • What is the average speed for marryhill?

  • @loadedD3rvish I Was Wondering That Too...Can Someone Tell Us What The Average Speed At Maryhill Is?

  • sky is trippy, gnarly conditions

  • how fast would u say u can go on a board with a wheelbase of 20,8" (axle to axle) 10" wide board with paris 180mm trucks before the short wheelbase and high angle of trucks becomes a factor?

  • the ONE guy on a buttboard :P

  • Im just curious, how would a Dervish handle something like this?

  • @EZIOSBLADE What flex and whats your weight?

  • @BayAreaLongboarder I grabbed the flex 1 and my weight is 155

  • @EZIOSBLADE I own a dervish flex 2 and i am 130 and I definitely wouldn't bomb this on it just because it has too much flax and not enough standing platform width or concave. If you are a really experienced downhiller than you probably could... I mean you see people bombing this on Humus and stuff like that... even a razor scooter but it really just all comes down to how comfortable you feel on your board and how experienced you are. Hope this helps

  • @BayAreaLongboarder yes it does thanks :D so just curious what would you suggest for hillbombing? thanks for replying so quick too.

  • @EZIOSBLADE Well, it really depends on what hills are in your area but as a general rule of thumb you want to get a board that is stiff and has a good amount of concave. From there, there are a lot of options, you can go for a topmount, dropthrough, drop deck, or double drop. Each one of these boards will be good for certain types of hills.

  • @EZIOSBLADE A topmount will be better for techy (turney) downhill. A topmount is mounted on the bottom of the board and will put more of your weight onto the wheels but your center of gravity will be higher so these boards will be a little less stable. Drop throughs are mounted on the top of the board and have a lower profile but less overall traction. A drop deck is another way to make the board's profile lower by bending the deck to make your riding platform lower to the ground as well.

  • @EZIOSBLADE and a double drop is the most stable with the lowest ride height but also has the least amount of traction

  • @BayAreaLongboarder thanks very much this information was really helpful

  • At 4:53 that is one beastly mofo.

  • 4:29 thats one tank motherfucker of a tuck!

  • I love the guy doing the street luge at like 4:20.

  • At 4:44 is the guy in black doing a stand up predrift?

  • @MightyZarkon He's carving...

  • @LBHaven Well it was really badass at those speeds. Nice.

  • @MightyZarkon lol

  • This is one of my favorite vids because all you hear is the wind, and the wheels on the road. I guess this is as close as it gets to a downhill skaters resort?

  • 4:32 lol its the ninja tuck~

  • where can u go online 2 get 1 of those longboarding full body suites

  • @betawolf999 they're are just normal motorbike leathers, you can just get them from your local motorbike shop

  • i live right across the river from there i ride that all the time

  • 4:26 that is one sexy tuck right there

  • 4:28 what kind of tuck is that? sleek!

  • 4:25! best tuck ive ever seen!

  • 4:55 - that guy has BALLS!

  • cant wait to fill my car full of my quiver and head to the mountains

  • Where do you guys get the Safety suit from??

  • @payableondeath2008

    ebay under motorcycle leathers

  • What camera is that guy in 1:21 using?

  • I don't see any slides so I was wondering how fast are these guys taking the turns? I can't really tell from the vid if they are all wearing slide gloves either. Thanks for the video.

  • @dmgcat Maryhill is pretty fast, but the turns aren't sharp enough to slide on, there is like one turn towards the bottom that you maybe drift a little on, but other than that it is a pretty nice run.

  • Best dh vid i've ever seen, just because of it's simplicity and stable hand held camera showing us different angles and different riders.

This is what dh longboarding really is.

  • hey there, i really want to ride maryhill, is it exclusive/private?

  • god that looks so fun

  • im having rather fun indeed doesnt make any sense

  • awesome looks like heaps of fun!

  • what is the board that is using the guy in 4:25?? plz REPLY PLZ

  • lol at guy laying down =]

  • Fark crazy i started shivering just watching that.

  • Thats makin love on concrete...

  • for downhill, with some sliding and stuff.... purp or orange otang in heats?

  • @colinprprpr

if it's hot out the in heats, especially the orange ones, can start to slow you down, I'd say the 4prez are the way to go if you're riding a more technical sliding course, but for maryhill orange InHeats are the way to go, grip it and rip it :D

  • i need to kno if my truckas shud be rlly tight for bombing or kinda loose anyone can tell me?

  • I enjoyed that. Kind of made you feel as though you were there!

  • how do you know where you're going and where you're filming at the SAME TIME ?!

(something that always puzzles me with these crazy speedboarding vids)

  • 5:21. "Yo POUND it!!"

  • it alwayes looked like those turns are way more hardcore in other vids. but this video makes it seem like i could take it! im a noob...never gone faster than 35-40. i know i couldnt do it, but i could almost imagine what i could be like...that turn at 4:50 looks pretty intense.

  • nice video ,pitty a bit dark in some places .nice place to ride too. keep on going guys god speed big hug from portugal longboarders

  • such a fat hill. sick footie too. pro job at it. :)

  • sweet vid pat E.S !!!!!

  • a camera, by the looks of it.

  • what speedometer (gps) is that?

  • The Garmin Forerunner 201

Its fairly accurate depending on obstructions.

Not having a decimal place had been an issue arguing the king of the hill before.

  • i dont think i could handle going that fast

  • Comment removed

  • Nothing special. You can just get some standard Bone Reds and those work nicely. I used some crappy minilogo $7 bearings in my speedboard for a while and didnt have any problem

  • yea bones swiss ceramics those are my dh bearings they dont over heat well they rarely do but thats pretty much the best kind of bearings u can get for downhill

  • was that a karate tuck at 4:23

  • absolutely insane camera work

  • camera mount im assuming

  • i wonder why longboard larry doesnt have the fin on his screamin marry

  • Did larry race??

does he do big race, like this in leathers.

i always saw him as a sorta cruising guy.

  • Nice video.. Maryhill looks like the ultimate DH place to be riding... i loved the way you almost can sense the speed on that movie. ;)

  • That's Graham riding a Rayne Nemisis

  • What board is that at 3:53?

  • That run I'm not sure. Average was around 63km/h and top 67km/h.
