How come that this car is a 3.3 engine and the hpi nitro rs4 evo is a 3.0 and this one reaches 70mph and the hpi only 51 ? Gearing??

Hey that's a fast car!!

So that's 112+km/hr. I've got mine going at a tested 110km/hr, not a claimed speed, a tested speed.

Can you put a speed gun or measure the distance of lines on the ground and use video editing software to measure the time it takes to travel that distance and give us the speed? I'm very carious!

Mine was going 110km/hr and I could barely see it after a few seconds, had to stop pretty much right away, kind of sucks cuz going that fast is exhilarating!!

the nitro 4 tec engine is not 3.3 cubic centimeters, the TRX pro .15 and 2.5 fit in the same spot, and also the 3.3 what i think it is like is this: pro .15= .15 cubic inches TRX 2.5= .25 cubic inches TRX 3.3= .33 cubic inches. 3.3 cubic inches= 55cc's which is a dirtbike sized engine, and .15 cubic inches= 2.5cc's. do you think a 55cc engine will fit in the same space as a 2.5cc engine? i don't think so.

I heard people saying that the 4tec is designed so durable it make many cartwheels without damaging-NOT TRUE.4tec need to hand 4tec with kid gloves for fear of damaging it. Don't get me wrong its a good car just very cheaply made.

I bought one 2months ago from Stormer Hobbies extreemly fast-but you deff need to upgrade to performance parts.Stock parts are not designed to handle the sheer power and speed the car produces.Car is also poorly designed shame on Traxxsas for making an otherwise good car out of such cheap parts.

@FanandCheese yeah its a fast car, and if your getting a body it has to be 1/10 scale and 200mm. Keepp in mind that when you have cars as fast as these you will go through tires pretty quick, on a warm day with my car i can burn through them in a full days worth of diving. I personally like brushless electric less maintenance cleaner and faster too but its whatever your style

well your going to have to paint it and cut it. You just have to fit the body to the car, if the cooling head gets in the way you just cut a hole for it to go through. if you send me a link to the one your talking about i could tell you if it works.

I purchased the original Nitro 4tec with the .15 years ago. with an aftermarket pipe and all the head shims removed, a cooling duct for the engine, and a lean tune netted me 76.4 mph.

This 3.3 could be made to run in the 90's easy, just hard to control at those speeds.

Well dickhead, if we must get technical, let's get technical. VTEC stands for Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control. VTEC is not any type of engine in particular, it is a valvetrain system. Therefore if you wanted to, you could have a weed wacker with VTEC.
