  • I like both.... Short course is more for racing while MT's are more for bashing and just having a jolly good time...... then theres rock crawling which is kind of different all together.

  • Whats up with her eyes

  • Ps: MT 's for go-anywhere bashing. SC for circuit. They both have their place.

  • Her eyes makes me want to do science on them..they look creepy. But gorgeous...

  • short course everyday baby

  • who has the money to keep bashing there savage flux every weekend ,

  • Slash 5803 Adler !! Ed all the way

  • 1/8 nitro buggy is what i fancy

  • I had the Traxxas Slash when it first came out and tested it out at Wolcott Raceway. The popularity never caught on till after I traded it. Sucks...lol.

  • short course for me!

  • Short course monster trucks aren't as cool looking and not as stable or as well as handling

  • All the Way Shourt course truck

  • Ya I think so I'm not so much crawling as trailing right now but I'll probs get an xr10.

  • @DeadSnowRC According to my crawler friends the XR10 is a big fail.

  • son categorias diferentes, de igual forma monster truck tiene la velocidad de las short course y la altura de el crawler asi que mas bien se dieron opciones para dividir las monster.

  • im a basher so im both

  • I like shourtcourse and monster truck?

  • Hope, nice work, that other hostess aint a natural.

Short course or monster? Depends where I'm running... Track=shortcourse. Scale/trail=Monster. But I love 'em all, there is no win/lose.

  • Rock and scale crawling wins for me :-)

  • her eyes look creepy

  • I love monster trucks but companies are now making a lot more short course trucks :(

  • Timbulb is a dim bulb.

  • шорт конечно)

  • Monster Truck...

  • Why choose?

    Enjoy them all. 8^)

  • I know this may not be any help but as for me I like them both the same :-)) You can't have a stable of RC Cars without having both

  • i have two rock crawlers and my friends has a short course and i still love the 1/8 scale monsters. i love now that they can jump 50 feet into the air very rarley breaking a a-arm or something else

  • hell NO!!!! Monster trucks are the best and no class of rc can beat them!!

  • Hope, Damn crazy eyes :D

  • Or just get a summit with a brushless combo!!!

  • tits or gtfo

  • I'm a monster truck man but I wouldn't mind giving the short course trucks a try i'm not into rock crawlers I like high speeds and sick air and monster trucks and SCT's provide that... Rock Crawling is almost a laid back kind of thing and i'd rather "in your face" competition as to slow put me to sleep driving..... Besides ain't got no rocks in south eastern Louisiana...

  • No I don't think that sct's and rock crawlers are replacibg monster trucks, but I do think that they will add more opportunities for developement in the hobby.

  • Recently, I was trying to decide between a Slayer 4x4 and a Savage X....I went with the Savage. However, it was not an easy choice, I like both of them very much. In fact, my next car is going to be the Slayer...right after I buy my next plane! Lol

  • @NitroJunkie626

you can't go wrong with a savage... everybody needs at least 1 savage in their garage.... Awesome line of trucks... durable as hell :)

  • @hbxhpikyosho

Complete package is Savage and a E-Revo :) Savage is a beast and yes it is durable, but you have something in E-Revo Brushless that Savage dont have. It handles better, its look and how it is overall.

  • @RCNorge

of course, I was talking about durability out-of-the-box only... the E-revo is a hell of a fun and cool truck :) (artig å kunne svinge i mer enn 2km/t uten å velte også xD)

  • @hbxhpikyosho

    Hehe :)

  • yes, I think so.

  • i love you hope

  • Love you Hope. I have all classes of RC cars and a helicopter. I don't see SCT replacing but adding. My favorite cars are my heavily modified models: Traxxas Summit and Rustler. Bottom line -- no.

  • Monster truck !!!!!!

  • it does seem like short course is all the hype now days for rc.. but honestly there is nothing like have a nicely powered MT that thrashes over everything and jumps and just is on the edge the whole time... rock crawling is fun but its very slow paced witch is not for me.. i like faster paced nitro vehicles.. ive yet to drive a short course.. but my roots are nitro MT's and they are so much fun i think any hardcore rc guy has atleast one nitro mt

  • @1994toyotasupra

Don't need nitro when you got a Savage Flux ^^

  • NOPE!

  • Of coarse not monster trucks are still the best

  • what happened to stadium trucks??

  • Comment removed

  • I personally myself like monster trucks because there the best to bash, short course and rock crawling are more competition really.

  • yeah duhh

  • Personally I love all 3. My first was the sledgehammer and then came the clodbuster, slash 2wd and 4wd, axial scx10 and xr10, now a helion animus has been added, along with various helis. I am addicted to rc in general. I would also like to add that so far that I've seen, there will always be vintage! Discontinued to me just means more fun!

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I for one LOVE MONSTER TRUCKS and short course and rock crawling is MAINLY for competionion and remember I said MAINLY not ALL.

  • Hope is delicious!

  • just a faze some thing else will come along i think we all want to be able to do both

  • No but I believe rock crawling is gaining popularity quickly. Thats just my opinion

    Thanks

  • fuck no!

  • I wish I was in the hobby when monster trucks were racers, I would have a good fleet

  • I would say, short course very popular now, basher and racer, monster trucks, one hell of a basher, not much of a racer, maybe an lst2, but that's about it

  • yay its not the blonde

  • rack crawling?

  • @timbulb shut up perv

  • @rcmen13 You're the perv, you fucking tool. I was making light of her pronunciation of the word rock. Go and rub one out so you don't immediately think about sex all the time.

  • @timbulb sorry thought you were being a perv by saying rack crawling

  • @rcmen13 Besides I'd rather crawl Julie's rack. OoooHHhhhhhh!

  • @timbulb keep that to yourself no one wants to here that

  • @rcmen13 Of course they do, not everyone lacks a sense of humor like you.

  • @timbulb no one put lol and i bet she would hate u doing that perv

  • alot of backyard bashing people have monster trucks

  • I would say that the short course who have given a new breath into the world of car models.

  • tie

  • They all have their place, its like they say different strokes 4different folks. I love my MTs and you really cant compare them 2 SC .My .02 cents is find a kit you like an Just enjoy the hobby. and 1/7 onroad racing is the next big fad lol go TRAXXAS~100+mph RTR vs. Ofna DM-1 e ...

  • Short course are the new thing, whenever something new comes in everyone wants it, also they also handle way better then monster trucks so are more common with racers

  • BTW, I own a Traxxas Stampede and love it! I'm hoping to add both an SCT (Losi or HPI) ant crawler (EXO Terra) as soon as my limited budget will allow.

  • Crawler is up there as a comp. Category. Monster truck r just bashers now.

  • Replaced? No, just added to. And yes, the ring light on the camera causes some unfortunate visual effects.

  • anybody else notice the creepy eyes?

  • I think Crawlers are here to stay and will soon replace the Monster Trucks as folks try to have a hybrid between the two.

I also feel that Short Course Trucks will soon be replaced by Short Course Buggies, especially with more durable 1/8 scale versions as folks are demanding tougher and faster designs.

  • Yes I don't know anyone with a monster truck but everyone has a sct

  • i don't know but the traxxas stampede if a popular monster truck. i have the 4x4 vxl and LOVE IT!!!!!

  • no monster trucks are bigger faster and stronger so i say no short course is ok but u can do more with with monster trucks

  • @tupples1

It wont even fit with wheel adapters.

The tire is so huge that it will rub against the chassis when turning.

  • can someone please let me now can hpi baja wheels fit on a traxxas rustler.?

  • @Tupples1 The hexes are different sizes

  • @LeMieux250 thank you bro.

  • And i forgot to say but is the dumb blond bimbo gone????

  • I dont have eigther of them. ^^

Got 2 buggy's an on road and a micro crawler. But i dont care wich is more populair. I buy what i like and not most people seem to like most...

  • Monster trucks will always be the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • get both lol i have a slash 4x4 n a 2011 savage x 4.6 and i love both of them

  • sct

  • It's just a phase SCT is fairly new but the monster trucks will always be popular. Why else would we see lots of people selling there SCT trucks on forums, they get one and then realize that it's not as bashable as they wanted it to be. They are too low to the ground and you can only run them on a track or a flat surface. So monster trucks will always be around and will always be sold...

  • ZOMBIE EYES!!!

  • short coarse has taken over, The are a racing version of a monster truck. You can race them and have all of the fun you want bashing them.

  • monsters trucks are not for the track they are bashers so ya i would rather a sct i have had 6 monster trucks and they are all gone now and i own a few sct so much easier to deal with it make the avarage rc user want to play with it more and alot less stress

  • In my direct opinion, no, I love my E-Maxx, and although Short Course is fun, there are things that a monster can do that a Short Course cannot

  • I own 1 SC (HPI Blitz) a 2 crawlers (1/24 & 1/10) & I wouldn't mind having the ERevo 1/10 brushless to bash, my blitz can take a lot of punishment but it's still just 2WD

as for popularity, not exactly sure, there is no race class for monster trucks (not around here anyway), there is SC races, but for crawlers, there seems to be a lack of them locally (I'm the only one I know who has a 1/10 crawler)

in the end I think its still balanced, for my location, it may be different for other places

  • @DangerousDan666

for bashing, get Savage Flux!!! nothing compares to that beast in durability :)

  • @hbxhpikyosho well @rcmen13 thinks that the savage xs and the savage flux hp are crap and that the thunder tiger mt4 g3 is better then the savage flux hp and i disagree with him.

  • @13rcdude

    :D

mt4 g3 is good, but I doubt it's better out of the box than savage flux durability wise.. ;)

  • @hbxhpikyosho I know that savage flux hp is much more durable.

  • @13rcdude

    ;)

  • monster track beast track ( erevo brushless edition)

  • Monster trucks

  • This is why I love my slash. Stock it's an SCT, but with some new wheels and a body it's an amazing monster truck. I can also make it an 8th scale buggy, or lock the diffs and let it crawl. Buy some extra parts, and you get five rc's in one.

  • yes they have indeed passed monster trucks. but monster trucks will always be the ultimate basher idc who you are

  • monsters are grate, but all my love goes to short course trucks

  • Not as far as I'm conscerned...BRUSHLESS EMASS, VXL STAMPEDE, MINI REVO, RC18T, and Original Blackfoot.....:O) Bashers like Monsters, sorry, those short course trucks seem too practical....Fenders?? C'mon now kids!

  • @TrustworthyMtgGuy **EMAXX** 3905 with Castle Mamba Monster 2200 with 6S 5000mah 35-45C FURY to be exact Boys!!

  • @TrustworthyMtgGuy

all you need is Savage Flux, ultimate basher.

  • @hbxhpikyosho /agreed

  • no monster trucks are still holding on and im the fist to watch this

  • heh

  • first! haha taken all your spaces :DD
