  • wow Good mix!

  • Would you say the Mixdeck was worth it?

  • can you use the jogwheels to beatmatch like you do on a pioneer cdj ?

  • does it allows you to change the color of the lights?

  • Name of the song at 03.30 `???

  • how much was it?

  • Dude I have da same one be I'm having trouble with it ok so I put in my iPod in it be da music plays but da turn table when I won't to scratch it doesn't work can you help plzz

  • @teamlightshow67 Not 100% sure about this, but im pretty sure when either using your ipod with the dock or through an aux cable, the only useable part of the deck becomes the mixer... which means no scratching, no effects, no hot cues, no loops, no samples etc... I've had my mixdeck for a year and thats always been the case :/

    hope i helped!

  • @teamlightshow67 the ipod dock on the mixdeck is strictly for playing the music, it doesnt enable you to scratch the songs unfortunatly, its good for when u need to rock a piss durin a gig tho.

  • Is it possible to play music through this via a macbook using itunes ??? If not what type of deck would you suggest for itunes ??

  • @thekidwhosaidno You cant use itunes to mix songs (i think lol), it will come with software called traktor that lets you choose songs off of your Default music library, and you can use windows, mac, linux, anything :) If you've got anymore questions message me :)

  • @XleegDubstep you can do it just you have no control over pitch etc, making it much harder, so your right traktor or any dj software is a much better method

  • @stevo8cro Ahh ok :)

  • @thekidwhosaidno It is possible, really easy actually, just buy an aux cable that ends with a split lead like the end of the master cable, plug that side into the deck at aux1 or 2, plug the aux side into your laptop then press play :D and make sure your deck channel is set to aux not deck. when u play it like this though you can only use your mixer.

  • hey That mixer has the function of sync like numark total control

  • so i heard that you can only use traktor softwear with the Numark Mixdeck? im more used to using VirtualDj.? or how does that work? im a beginner. so i'm still trying to understand and possibly buy mix deck

  • Y do u use the volume controls instead of the cross fader

  • Did you change the color of the LED's on the deck? mine is orange...exactly how would i get it to be purple

  • Shit hot mix bro, Id say your pretty good to be able to make a cheap set up sound so good.

  • how do you change songs on the fly ?

  • @SeismicAirsoft usually this kind of things are for begginers but also want to be proffesional a little if you want something thats simple and can use at a party then this is best if your a BEGINNER

  • how did you beat match like that so it didnt sound bad?

  • dank

  • bro ur not bad keep up the good work but watch it if u noticed in the beginning ur beat matching is 98% accurate

  • Wassup bro! What's the name of those songs u just played? Cuz im about to play those next week for a wedding! Let me know ASAP! Or email me @ jockdisbitch@yahoo.com give me some good list of what song to remix with!! Thanks bro keep up the good job!!!

  • moist tracklist!

  • Never been a fan of using volume controls rather the crossfader but I guess little amount of blending in this mix sounded okay thumbs up

  • hey is there key lock on this?

  • On a PIONEER CDJ when you pause the track, you can use the jogwheel to search a position, and then set a CUE POINT via the CUE BUTTON, and then everytime you press the CUE BUTTON it plays from that Position, and if you release it, the track pauses and jumps back to that point.

Now on the Mixdeck, if you pause the track, search through the track with the Jogwheel, and press the CUE BUTTON it doesnt create a new CUE POINT but JUMPS BACK to the last Point? Please tell me its similar to the CDJ!

  • trash- uma merda foked!!!!!!!

  • null

  • In my opinion, I think You shouldnt shut up the track like you did on 06:17, maybe a loop just for a while, before playing the next track, but i repeat, that's MY OPINION, you did pretty cool! I'm just wondering, what do you do when you press the CUE button before the track? i saw you pressing it several times just before you hit the PLAY one? :)

  • are you using cds?

  • I just bought a mixdeck and i had a idj and my mixdeck is acting funny, When i add the tracks to the platers and play them and i use the cross fader from track to track it doesnt work rite It really hard to explain whats happing

  • hey man nicee mix .. i have a questionn ... is there some way to sync ?? O:

  • does it have effects on it? nice mix mate

  • you're not bad very bad

  • wicked mixing.

  • can you plug this in to a computer because all the videos i saw were with flash drives. and would you use this to dj at party and stuff like that . thank you

  • @UltimateStudio25 it has a usb interface for the computer. this allows for two functions. 1) you can use the decks as a controller for traktor. I prefer to mix without traktor so I'm forced to practice beatmatching, but I'll use traktor at a party because the playlist option there makes things so much easier. the mixdeck is great because it allows you to use cd's, flashdrives, external drives, or hook it up to your computer. It comes with traktor LE, but works with pro

  • @samuelrbarber you can use it on virtual dj too...ive noticed something, you should work on how to mix songs man..i mean you play them at the right time and beat, but its better if you mix the ending of a song with the beginning of the other song, that way it will sound better and you might impress people a little more, trust me ;)

  • Oh and function 2: it uses the mixer for a second soundcard. you don't have to figure out the audio interface that way, which makes connecting to speakers and using monitor headphones ridiculously easy

  • @UltimateStudio25 You can use the mixdeck as a MIDI controller, CDJ, and you can plug in any usb or (some?) hard drives and play music straight from there. You can also plug in a ipod and play music straight from there but you won't have any functions for the volume because it's on a different channel than the rest of the stuff. It has it's own sound card. It's dope for parties. So simple n shit.

  • @UltimateStudio25 Hey, bro. I have one of these and I have used it for parties. I'm a DJ for a hip-hop/rap/party/dance group and it worked out well. I haven't done well using it for the computer because my computer wasn't running it well (I think).. So I used CDs. I just put the whole set on two different CDs and cued them up. It went well.

  • @UltimateStudio25 since he really didnt awnser the question yes you can use a laptop and yes i would use at party

  • @UltimateStudio25 yes you can to pc and laptop i have one used in parties but with my laptop

  • @UltimateStudio25 Yes by Traktor

  • thats really good man, how much did your numark mixdeck cost? does it come with traktor?

  • @wormbait3939 it costs around about £699 depending on where you live and things, you can also get it cheaper if its bstock which is what im doing next month, and yes they come with traktor but you can map them with most software as it is midi aswell as cd and usb.

  • @mctechno1234 thanks man, ya i am very interested in purchasing this instrument! Thanks for the info.

  • @mctechno1234 what do you mean by bstock?

  • hi man you got some pretty nice shit here. go on, !!

but i had a question, i wanna know what it costs to be ready to play with this mixdeck. i mean boxes and all cables and shit.. can you tell me for how much money you can dj on good quality? i really have no idea.

  • @napercracker the built in mixer has multiple outputs using rca cables and xlr... no audio cables but it's ready to plug in to any speaker system

  • @napercracker They're being sold for about... $900? Cables are 15$ a piece for audio in/out. Depends which kind of speakers you're hooking it up too, so you might have extra or diff cables to get.. DJ headphones like $100-$200 ... and I think that's it.

  • @napercracker the numark mixdeck which is what he is using is 699 + a headfone 100 + an amp with speakers 600(for home use)or an amp with speakers for a gig you can get a couple mr dj 2000w which will run about 500 and a 2000w subwoofer arround 500

so for a good quality profesional gig = arround $1800, throw in a couple extra hundred bucks and make it an even number and you can get some extra equipment like a fog machine some lights and shit and put on a good show for a party

    home use = $1400

  • that was a crazy cool mix im sold lol i want one

  • Alright so Im a beginner and thinking of buying this mixdeck. When you buy the set does it usually come with all the wiring you need to hook it up to speakers and such? Im afraid once I get this thing Ill have to buy more shit just to use it.

  • nice mix i am about to start djing but im only 14. how hard was it to learn how to mix like this i cant wait

  • @Fanistans I'm still a beginner and a year later (with only off and on playing), I still think this is ideal. I work like 60 hours a week so I don't have enough time for tutorials, but youtube has endless resources from other users. If there aren't videos about a mixdeck, i'm sure there are related ones

  • @samuelrbarber How i can record the mix on Numark Mixdeck?

  • awesome remix!

  • does the numark have a lot of noise making? like as in.... can it let you create a lot of different beats/techno sounds? THANKS!

  • @jvboy88 the media players have built in effects: pan, echo, filter, phaser, flanger, and chop. realistically, i only use the filter, maybe flanger, and sometimes echo. they're not fantastic quality effects, but one can still tastefully enhance the mix. the media players give you hot cues for sampling though, so theoretically you could cue up sounds that you want to play at any point with another song. It sounds like you want a synthesizer or MPC device instead.

  • hey dude can I ask u a question like where u get your songs and beat?

  • your pretty good...and is this set worth getting

  • @ruffryder135 I just got one last week and I wanna share how I feel. I know nothing about DJ before but the mixdeck is perfect for a rookie to practice and get familiar with all the basic stuff there. But if you're good enough this one doesn't fit u.

  • @ruffryder135 hey thanks man, still learning all the time. I think it's a great beginner to intermediate setup. Good for basic mixing and extremely convenient if you use software, too (with usb connection). I don't see myself owning anything else unless I actually DJ'ed real gigs. At that point, i'd save up for nicer stuff for slightly better response and a more durable build, but this is a huge value.

  • heyy bro good job! dont listen 2 these haterz comments they talk crap u did good man! :D

  • You should learn how to beatmatch :)

  • just a tip you shouldnt play with the crossfade in the middle, its not smooth to hear both beats, i mean if u want to sample then sample but idk it didnt sound so smooth, otherwise nice setlist

  • am planning to get my this year. am exited. cant wait. Nice mix men. As i said, practice makes perfection.

  • dont always start the song from the beginning and dont start it when the channel vol is all the way high , play it the raise the vol(it sounds good cause it flows) just dont BAM play it, i hope you took some advice from a dj who does world wide events

  • fuck the haters bro, you did this nice n sharp. Good song, good mix, brilliant.

  • Good stuff, really like this, thank you for entertaining me

  • That was Good Shit

  • @djDWNLD Hey thanks! I appreciate the feedback!

  • @djDWNLD Why you hatiin? Atleast he posts his mixes and doesnt just talkk shit.

  • try to get beat in line with a 16 count.. every beat got a package of 4. 4x4 = 16 and thats the timing when a kick drops in or a stop comes you can use that to kill the bass in one track and get on going in the other. and take out the first track faster.

just some tips and hits ;)

    GL Mixing!

small exaple at 4:00 you can start fading so the kicks comes in louder ;) and at the beginning no critics just advice ;)

  • How did you get 2 keep this video. i tried 2 upload but UMG cut it off.

  • Props bro. Such a great combo of songs. The beat flow is incredible.

  • U R Good . :)

    From latvia whit love .

    im subscribing :)

  • DOES IT HAVE A BPM READER?

  • very nice men

    congratulation

    is a very good mix

  • You Fucked Up Some Times Dude Like Never Press The Play Button use The CUE For the beatmatch because i think the mixdeck doesnt have the bpm reader so its wisely you hear the bpms first!! you can recognize when ur putting a song next and people want to hear a smooth mixx where you cant hear the next song coming up just keep up the work man your doing good !!

  • teach meeeeeeeeeeeee

    haha nice job bro

  • hell yeaaahhhhh!

  • man ay k prektikar ezaz mezklaz!!! a lo mejor zon improvizaadaz pero ze pueden azer mejor!!! zuerthe!!

  • This Is A Good Mix Man Your Good At Beat Matching

  • wait how did u record ur mix and then lapse it over the vid bcuz it doesnt sound like if its cuming out from speakers so how do u record ur mix bcuz i wanna do that??......plz reply......btw nice mix

  • @CROW88WEED Thanks! I plugged a rca to stereo mini cable from the master output into the "line-in" input in my computer, and used i-movie to simultaneously capture that audio from line-in with the video from my webcam in real time... Then I just exported as an AVI file to upload onto here.

  • @samuelrbarber thnx

  • @CROW88WEED or just use the ipod lol

  • i need this so bad. i have the numark cd mix 2!! i need to upgrade

  • MUCHA MAQUINA !! Y EL DJ MUY MALO!! NO CREO QUE SEA DJ DE VERDAD!! XD

  • @djdemonio verdad!!! mucha makina pero muy malo el dj

    dj blend es mucho mejor

  • scince i got this thing i been gtting paid money and i cant get off it its addicting :D

  • Nice done, I'm saving up for the Numark Mixdeck ;)

  • Do you think 2 x numark ndx400 and as the mixer numark dxm06 is a good choice?

  • How Much? And Where Should I Buy Mine? Thanks It Would Really Help A Lot.

  • @sisonritche I think the price is fairly fixed, but I got mine with a 15% coupon at guitar center. Try there, B&H Photo, or even amazon

  • dude, check your pitch % you have 'em in diferent percentages

  • you can use virtual dj instead of traktor for the software

  • @Lawrence8123 yes, all softwares, that include MIDI support

  • how much for the set bro?

  • memories/ghosts n stuff sounds ridiculousss together, try it out

  • @MrLawlerPants u should try satisfaction by benny benassi and ghosts n stuff together. if u start ghosts n stuff at just the right place, it sounds amazing

  • How did you get such a clean recording? I can't record shit with my Mixdeck. The mixes always sound like shit.

  • woww on of the best mix i see 2d on the mixdeck keep up!!!

  • do you have to use the included software or can you just mix without a computer hooked up?

  • @dan3991 This was mixed without computer software; it was reading media off flash drives. The Mixdeck comes with traktor LE, which is convenient at times. I got it because it's a standalone media player with the option of midi control. Best of both worlds.

  • @samuelrbarber for the price i think its a pretty decent setup, is it reliable so far? i was playing around with it at future shop and it seems really good. im just starting to dj so i dont need anythying too expensive yet. but i noticed that you can get it with either traktor LE or Virtual DJ LE. which one do you think is a better software to use? right now im curently using virtual dj..

  • good job man, sick mix!

  • besides the gay ipod connection... this is actually a pretty cool cd player. Well worth the price and the fact that it can be used with dj programs makes it a winner.

  • hey there... I'm about to order the mixdeck online.... aside from the headphones what cables or else do I need?

  • @bernardolw I forget if it comes with a USB cable. It's the same kind that printers use; the A-B. if you're hooking it up to speakers, you can use RCA or XLR from the mixdeck. Otherwise, that should be it! Congrats on your new purchase. I'm very happy with it. Once I'm done with school I'll finally get more short mixes up.

  • niiiiiccceeeee im new to mixing so i dont kno 2 much but nnnnnniiiiiccccceeeeee

  • VERY IMPRESSED. The first beat match with "no speak americano" was the best! Keep it up! Id love to see more videos in the future. I am purchasing a mixdeck soon as well so i hope to post videos on my mixes in the near future.. check them out when up

  • @andrewww510 thanks, will do!

  • do you recommend this mixer?

  • sickk dude check out my mixes !

  • hmm, idk to me the transition into kid cudi was a little off but it might just be me x]. other than that sounds brilliant :]. ordered my mixdeck yesterday :]

  • @JDMJ9997 Sounds like you have Traktor LE setup if you installed it, and I'm guessing the drivers specifically for the mixdeck so the PC recognizes it, yes? It could be this - make sure "source" on each deck is set to "usb-midi" rather than CD or usb-master so it's looking for input sent from the computer. Finally, use the setup wizard in traktor and choose the mixdeck as your device, and then not an audio interface like audio8 if you are hooking it up USB.

  • very talented my friend. I like the mix. Your just about spot on for the beat matching too.

    -DJ V

  • bad beatmatching but this is 10minimix... :)

  • @samuelrbarber you use a lot of the same songs that I do in your mixes lol!

  • Hey there maybe you can give me a little help. I purchased the deck like 3 weeks ago and am having a hard time getting the deck to recognise my flash drives the ones you plug into the top. I've installed the first disk that came with the deck and have only mp3's on the flash drive. What did you do to get it to recognise the flash disk all mine say's is " scanning folder" but it recognises the drive when installed into the unit because it say's the name of the flash drive.

  • @saskvidkid hmm that's annoying about not seeing the partition. If you can easily reformat it FAT32, maybe it will magically work. I've had the opposite problem where my mac suddenly doesn't see the partition despite the hard drive space missing, but then works fine on the mixdeck. Formatting should fix it, otherwise call numark up

  • Do you know if the Mixdeck supports wave files on a USB flash drive? My music library is mostly AAC and Wav and only a few MP3s.

  • @seanmhome unfortunately it only supports mp3s. the only way you will be able to use AAC and WAVs is in traktor or serato

  • 1st songbest song ever i used 2 always practice house like everytime.

and it weird i know a shitload of these songs

  • good mix;)

  • Good drop into no americano

  • n0 serato !

  • Great job! Recently got this mixdeck too but having a hell of time setting it up lol. No mixer features work :\.. How did you record?

  • good shit dude... how long have you been DJing?

  • i wanna buy this but i use my computert to mix .. do i need serato ?

  • @touchentertain the mixdeck has a USB interface and acts as a midi controller. it comes with traktor, but you could map to other software. You don't have to burn cd's - i used 2 flash drives for audio sources. I use it standalone so i can be forced to beatmatch by listening, rather than seeing the waveform or synching. Just my preference while learning.

  • @samuelrbarber hey bro, does the numark mixdeck plays the new ipod touch 4th generation the new ipod touch

  • @MrJack1385 I would say yes as long as 4th gen ipod touches are backwards compatible with other ipod docks like alarm clocks or speaker docks, should be the same thing

  • @touchentertain

this will be good for you if you mix on a computer i have one i love it check out a video i will post soon

  • @touchentertain the Mixdeck works with Traktor, Virtual Dj and plenty of others, not totally sure about Serato but i'd be surprised if it didn't :]

  • i wanna buy the mixdeck but its gonna be a pain to burn all the cds im used to my computer .. i wanted to know if you need serato or anything

  • Sounded pretty cool man. Your beatmatching sounded like it was off by half a count going into memories. Just constructive critisism, not trolling.

  • nice mix!

  • Hey I got a question. Did you configure your mixdeck to have pink lighting instead of the orange? Or did you just buy it like that?

  • @Live2Mixxx - The color is actually red, and the blue should be more saturated, as well. I don't know if it's an incorrect white balance by the webcam (orange in incandescent light, pink with too cool a white balance setting), but either way, it's really annoying, ha. Works for now i guess.

  • great joob men :)

  • what the song name at 03:40 please ?

  • @Jojomaf dude he provided the tracklist... smh

  • @Jojomaf it is included in the tracklist, but at 3:40 it's vato gonzalez - badman riddim. the cudi/guetta song comes in 10 seconds later

  • @samuelrbarber I want to learn to dj, coming from someone who doesn't play instruments but can count beats well enough how hard do you assume it would be for me to learn?

  • @SocietyFailing if you can keep a beat you can DJ. I know plenty of people who play instruments but can't keep a beat, ha. Also I think an ear for music is the most helpful, which can't easily be taught in formal instruction

  • hey great mix. im thinkin about buying this but ive never dj before. do you think this would be a good system for beginners and do you think it would be good for doing partys cuz thats what id be doing since im only 14. thanks and great mix

  • @YoItsMrETC12 as a beginner myself, I find this to be exactly what I was looking for. On a laptop alone, there was only so much I could do mixing with mouseclicks. This gives more creative control. The standalone hardware is key, in addition to controlling traktor. Also, I try to stay away from software as I am learning, in order to force myself to beatmatch by listening rather than relying on the waveform. That way, you have the skill set to use any equipment later.

  • @YoItsMrETC12 All that being said, the price is not relatively cheap for someone jumping right into it. If you are unsure if this is going to be a big hobby then I'd recommend starting with a usb midi controller and computer software for a fraction of the price, such as the total control or the new mixtrack with traktor. Then, you could always upgrade later.
