Sr8 you speak of is a British built radical (street Legal) which is effectively a kit car, the car here is a norma m20 (non street legal), oh and the radical does hold the lap record of which you're right at 6.55 mins (street Legal) but it bears no relation to this car which is bigger, and bmw powered, unlike the radical which has a powertec RPA 2.6 litre V8 producing about 380bhp I suspect it has had the engine upgrade to 460bhp option pack. The SR3 can also be powered by Suzuki Hyabusa
A great car, a great driver and a great vid. Hillclimbing really tests your ability of concentration and precision around such a tight course like Bagnols, certainly one of my favourites to watch.

Nope not a Judd V8 engine. Its a 3 Liter BMW inline 6 cylinder! Modified to produce about 400 BHP!
