Reverse gear has nothing to do with engine, with proper gearbox you can do 'reverse only' car with even superbike engine. Btw - don't be fooled - when you use it in a regular car, crankshaft won't start turning opposite way, that'd be just ridiculous and too hard to design.

They use an electric motor for reverse. If they spin the car around and dont push in the clutch, it dusts the starter. Turns them into many small parts.

No, it has a chain connecting the motorcycle sprocket to a sprocket on the rear axle (solid - ie no differential).

Shord wheelbases can cause massive understeer on RWD cars. And, while not very good for performance driving, FWD is much better in an average non-sporty car for driving over ice and snow.

In terms of poor-weather traction, tires are far more important than driveline type. A RWD car with proper winter tires will fare much better in the snow than a FWD car with all-seasons.

People get all worked up about RWD cars in the winter when all they need to do is behave intelligently and get an appropriate set of tires.

if you take a countach replica and stick in a ninja engine in it, it wont make it AS FAST as a ninja, because it weighs a LOT more. you need to study this a little bit more.

I could put two Kawasaki Ninja engines of the exact same capacity and the exact same number of cylinders welded together in a Lamborghini Countach replica. Two 4-cylinder Ninja engines join force to form a V8.

let me tell you something. i know a company that makes v8 engines out of Suzuki Hayabusa engines- thats a 2.6 with a redline of 10500rpm and 400bhp STANDARD. you can take one of those to over 1200hp. but it costs $30k just for the engine... good luck if thats what you want to do
