It could be learned, but I've always had natural talent. I suck at EVERY sport, especially football, but I've climbed things since I was about 4, so I pick this up naturally. My friends are amazed when I do things that seems simple to me, so I'd guess it's a natural ability, but I'm sure it's possible to learn the technique. You'll have to ask someone else about that, I'm sorry I can't be of more assistance, but it's worth pointing out that for myself, it's natural talent. I hope this helped.
