  • Now I know why my mom never let me join a kung fu club. GANGS!!! lol But I loved lion dancing so much :(

  • @EliteSoldierForce so dont think lion dance is a useless thing. the futshan style is he best style to me. ^^ lion dance is an art that needs to be preserved . dont pray pray. futshan all the way!

  • @EliteSoldierForce and so, thats why when you visit chinatown in singapore, you will see alot of traditional lion dance troupe where most of the members consist of only old man. because they are practicing the traditional lion dance and trying to preserve the art and that some of the youngsters saw that its a feasible thing and so, they recruited them and slowly, they changed because some of those seniors in them joined gangs and etc thus causing the troupe's name to sullen.

    yea.

  • @EliteSoldierForce japanese occupation. and most of them are martial arts school bandits and they have no use for martial arts when chinese became more westerned. and so they became bandits in order to feed their family though some of them became bandits for their own needs. and when lion dancing came to singapore and malaysia, they must retain their own culture. because when chinese martial arts came to singapore in the olden days, they still have connections with their china counterparts. yea.

  • @EliteSoldierForce hey bro, (i suppose). the earliest form of lion dance is the futshan style. and futshan style lion dancing is the wong fei hong style or what some others call the fighting lion ( translate it into chinese means, tah dou shi ) and all the lion dance came from martial arts school all the way from china. and some of them are bandits living in the mountainous areas where the ex president , mao zhe dong pursuaded them to come out of those mountains to help fight the japanese.
