This is seriously helpful full of inspiring knowledge, thank you for sharing your experience and thoughts. Went abit to fast for me so I had to pause and go back to absorb it all but all in all PERFECT.
Kylan, this is cool stuff. As a classical pianist, I'm used to just playing what the composer tells me to (not always so easy, I might add, if it's Rachmaninoff, or Chopin Etudes hehehe). But one luxury of non-improvisational performance is not having to analyze the modalities and chords ... so seeing you move effortlessly through all these modes and extended chords is really cool. As with your previous lesson, the cool part is seeing where you go with it and admiring your ease and facility.
I love it! the presentation reminds me of the way sesame street might have taught the scales, but including voice with the readings! Try throwing some voice that reads aloud the captions (keep the captions! they really solidify the playing)
Terrific.
