Good effort.. excellent idea... would be cool to see this extended.. maybe create a cool tune out of all the noises.. perhaps another future project if you have the time
@kalaniman1movies Does there have to be? Like I said, it's made from only natural sounds, not musical instruments. Also it was shot in only a day, there's obviously some changes we'd make given a longer time.
@gbfilmproductions personally I think there has to be. It is merely my strong opinion that without an intense classical score, the film lacks vitality and inspiration, henceforth seeming entirely lacklustre.
@kalaniman1movies I agree. Some intense classical music and some creative movement in the environment, perhaps some green screen stuff with animtated bits would really make this film. It would make a good film into a great one.
@TheMizDog shutter speed is optimal for video at twice the frame rate so if you're running a PAL system (like in England/Europe) it would be set at 1/50. For US it would be 1/60 as NTSC is around 30 fps - jargon over =)
@ccfdude I know that lol, but you can change your shutter speed when shooting video on the canon cameras. The video looked a little bit too smooth so I was thinking she may have used a higher shutter speed.
@TheMizDog Sorry - I misunderstood! Yeh, the shutter speed was just 1/50 and it was filmed on a Sony PD170 in the POURING rain (the last part has no relevance but I'm still bitter about it because it was VERY cold)
@mathiasha No I don't lol fps is fixed on the camera we used (as it's PAL this is 25 as I explained unnecessarily to @TheMizDog) the shutter speed can be changed on video cameras of prosumer + category as shutter speed can give different effects for example a low speed (1/15 for example) gives a 'trail' effect good for dream sequences/ drug trips etc... whereas a higher speed (1/200) gives a choppy effect synonymous with zombie films and unnatural movements. hope this clears things up.
Awesome concept, and excellently executed only flaw i spotted was the "conductor" coming to a stop at about 0:23 whether thats intentional i don't know? still really cool:)
im soooo sorry for what im about to say, because i feel really harsh and judgemental!!!!!!!
it's quite good, but I'm pretty sure that nobody conducts like that. No offense, but he looked a bit more like a wizard....

what did you have your shutter speed at?
TheMizDog 1 year ago
@TheMizDog shooting video doesn't have anything to do with shutter speed. do you mean aperture?
beekydogg 1 year ago
@beekydogg yes it does =\
TheMizDog 1 year ago
@TheMizDog i'm pretty sure you mean frame per second, if it was shutter speed the noise from the shutter would be heard in the videos audio.

@ccfdude actually watching it again maybe she had a normal shutter speed set

@ccfdude shutter speed is some thing you use when taking photos, I think you mean FPS (frames per second)
