• Now, can Republican activists ask the Democrats some planted questions? I'll ring up CNN.

  • this girl is crazy.. she is also illegal by the way =]]

  • WTF was that??? Is this some sort of circus act? Its pretty scary and sad actually, that this is what democracy and capitalism has devolved to, and especially that a lot of people just accept it as normal...

  • CNN is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Democratic Party.

  • After these planted questions, the gay "general" activist on Hillary's campaign asking Republicans questions in a debate. I don't doubt. Hilly campaign should just put them on payroll and just issue them talking points for all broadcasts. Shame CNN.

  • There's a likely chance CNN might sabotage the Republicans during a YouTube driven debate due to a radical majority who use the Internet. Unless there are some rules (Like airing questions by citizens who are going to or MIGHT vote Republican) it will be a lot more of a challenge than Democrats being asked about melting snowmen.

  • 1) Stop making up words

    2) Look up the word biased

    3) Look up the word journalism

  • Fox news is more biased than CNN. Anyway I lost all respect for Malkin after watching her on the news one day lying to the public.

  • She always lies.

  • Dumb video, but Ron Paul didn't run away!

  • If the Republican candidates think they are good enough to run the country, they shouldn't be afraid of Anderson Cooper.

At least some of the Republicans have the courage to participate- including RON PAUL!

    RON PAUL 2008!

  • WTF is this??!!

    Malkin has lost it.

  • Mike Huckabee isn't running away. He has confirmed that he's in. Go to his website to see his confirmation.

  • 16 years ago, the Republican president refused to appear in a debate hosted by MTv News (I know, that's the classbook definition of oxymoron). His opponent showed up, endured frivilous questions about what type of underwear he prefers...and went on to win the election.

So -- should we connect with the American people, or sit in the corner all high and mighty, yet wondering why we handed the country over to the libbies?

  • That's not the reason they are running from it. The Youtube debate was an utter joke! The questions were meaningless, people can ask questions and do of the candidates, just not on film. The format of the CNN Youtube debate was boring and wasn't revolutionary as people claim it to be.

  • Well thank you, Mr. C0NSERVATIVE!111 for your idiotic comment about how the questions were meaningless. THEY WERE THE SAME AS THE OTHER DEBATES QUESTIONS! War in Iraq, Abortion, gay marriage, etc.

  • While I would agree that these are important, I have to dissagree on Youtube being an apropriate host. They block, censor, and control the information here. It would be a Republican Roast. What would be the point?

  • Agreed Dark,

Why give it any kind of legimatcy.

Oh wait, we might get a pressing question from a sock puppet...

  • ROFL!!!!! Maybe they will ask questions and then will delete the answers if they don't like them.

  • Debates - yes, public circus - no. What serious debates can we talk about in YouTube/CNN format? A few seconds for each participant is not a debate, it's making money for TV Channels. This format is very good for either preliminary or concluding appearances to show faces.

  • CNN is Fair and Balanced thats why the are holding the CNN/YouTube debates! Fox News would never do such a thing! If a Republican does not show up for the debate then they can forget about running for president! The people of the United States needs to stand up and say if you do not show up, then you should drop out of the race immediately!

  • "Fox News would never do such a thing"

Okay...why did they (IN CONJUCTION WITH THE CONGRESSIONAL BLACK CAUCUS) offer to hold a debate with for the Demss? Hmmm. All the dems ran away from Fox News, should they drop out, or is it ok because they all have D's after their last name? Libtard

  • You must be a republican. We all know about republicans and how they lie, after all look at the Bush Administration, so I don't believe you. Even if they did drop out we all know how Fox news is the worst news agency out there and completely twist the truth and the news storys. Just type in FOX NEWS here on you tube if you don't believe me. There are tons of false news reports from them. Fox has been sued many many times. CNN never gets sued for reporting false news!

  • LOL, I love how you judge people you don't even know. As an Independent, I even agree that Youtube, would be biased and unfair. They block, censor, and delete pro Republican material. But all you see are lies and secrets I am sure.

  • Go RON PAUL 2008 - the one republican who is intelligent enough, honest enough to be our President.

    Fair and balanced!

  • When exactly did the Democrats "Run away from fox"? Is she referring to some insider leak at Fox that they offered the Dems a chance to do a fox-hosted debate, and they all refused? Cuz I sure as hell don't remember Fox ever asking them publicly. Wtf?

  • I do not understand why Michelle does not support Republicans turning away from the Youtube audience. Majority of avid Youtubers are either democrats or Ron Paul voting self-proclaimed independants.

When they ask questions like... would you support universal health care for even illegal aliens... enough said?

  • You only have to look as far as the videos that are featured on youtube to get an indication which way youtube is leaning. The questions that the dems were asked were tailor made for democrats. Republicans would not get the same benefit. If we leave it to youtube, and it's membership, it would be a waste of time.

  • Well, it sure beats having CNN, MSNBC and/or Fox News blowhards make up questions that people may be scratching their heads at and saying "wtf did he just say?" at. At least the youtube debates are questions asked by real citizens, young voters concerned with the fate of the nation. Most of the citizen debates in the election year are usually middle-aged to old people who don't give a damn about the other important issues young people focus more on.

  • Do you know why theY run from You Tube debate? The Answer is simple Because they are afraid. You Tube Questions are not Like Fox Dumb Questions. They ask things some corrupted people like Rudy Giuliani don't want to answer. So they skipped it...They are afraid.

    Wake Up....

    RON PAUL 2008 !!!

  • I think history will record that Democrats had no problem debating YouTube clowns.

Kind of a Clowns to Clowns network sort of debate.

Republicans shouldn't run away from YouTube but allowing their message to be demeaned by a Red State comedy routine at what should be a serious debate is bad also.

  • There is the question of whether this is a valid format of public debate or another way for a member of the public to gain their "15 minutes of Fame" I think the latter...(a waste of time)

  • you stepped in what?

  • Michelle, I agree with you with the Republicans to not turn down YouTube/CNN debates. Please don't make any more drama with the Democratic Party! They are targeting you and Bill O'Reilly, and will find information on you to eventually shut you down! This is not a rumor! Please tone down the insults. They are involved with the Secret Service checking your website and postings as you type!

  • Yes! YouTube a huge audience that counts in the millions and these "people" are real citizens with real questions. GOP supporters are on YouTube! If the GOP turns down YouTube debates then they would be tagged as "out of touch", "soft", "hypocrites" and ruin their chance to gain ground against a strong Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton bid! Fred, John, Rudy, Mitt, Tom and Ron (as well as the rest) have official YouTube site! C'mon support YouTube!

  • Fox is all about lying and spinning the bad news for the GOP fascists.

Hope Ron Paul wins anyway. At least he isn't a fascist dictator wannabe who wants to control everyone's lives in extreme detail.

  • Funny... liberals are actually fascists. It's either their way or no way. Point in case, the mass hysteria over losing the 2004 election.

  • Fascism = big government.

    Bush = big government.

Bush is the opposite of what the Republican party really is. The Republican party wants a government with limited power, like Ron Paul keeps pointing out, while Bush wants an all-powerful government.

Bush is a fascist wannabe. Look at things like the PATRIOT act.

  • agreed in a way.

  • Correct! And they are both about worshipping the all-powerful state, and having Big Brother control every aspect of everyone's life, and the economy. Liberals and fascists are both anti-individual.

  • Now hold on there, kind sir. I suspect you're a libertarian? That's ridiculous. Of course liberals believe in individuals, and so conservatives. They just have diff. concepts of what's more important as an individual: economic rights or freedom from intrusive gov't? To say either of them is anti-individual is stupid and shows you don't what the hell you're talking about, like many libertarians.

  • Indeed. Fox is anti-individual. Fox supports Bush's fascist-like agenda, and spins everything to his advantage.

  • I think there's a mild difference between the GOP running away from CNN and the Dems shying away from Fox News when one of Fox's vice presidents likened Obama to a terrorist.

Also, hilarious that people consider Clinton the Democrats' best candidate while simultaneously complaining of Dems being unable to reach solid decisions

  • I mean, this whole youtube/cnn debate is a joke and had no substance. I wish it did have substance, but I read the log of all the submitted questions and have to say that the debate was basically MTV RocktheVote and we all know how pathetic that was. I agree that the GOP should step up to CNN and do a debate there just to rub it in Democrat faces, but lets have substance, not the antics of a bunch of amateurs like the kind that CNN/Youtube debate provided.

  • Clever, but oh so very accurate.

  • I agree. The republicans should do the YT debate

  • OMG ppl dems suck they cant decide on anything. And Hillary is the best candidate they can come up with. At least Guliani will tell you how it is.

  • I thought the same thing. I remember about 6 years ago when I thought that hillary was the worst thing that could happen to this country. After watching this latest debate, I realized that we would be lucky to get hillary if one of the democrats were elected president.

  • yea I agree. Think Obama and you'd be running to the Hilary camp easy. On the other hand if Obama wins the primary, thats good too, because there are a lot of racists in the Democrat party.

  • It's going to be really funny when Fred Thompson jumps in the republican rat race and dilutes what waning support many of the the gop hopefuls have. They are going to be slinging mud everywhere in all directions to stay afloat thus further dooming their proverbial sinking ship.

  • Nice try..'the defeatocrats??" i have one for you...how about making a you-tube video on the Riech-wing republicans?

  • Also: Being the intelligent person that you are, Michelle, you've probably noticed the irony in accusing CNN as being biased when working for FOX News?

  • I agree with you. I expect the Dems to dodge tough questions. It is very unbecoming for the Reps to do it as well. The Reps write off CNN viewers at their own peril just like the Dems wrote off Fox viewers. Any candidate who looks like they want to bridge the gap between cons and libs will win by a landslide. Dodging debates does not instill the belief in compromise.

  • "Defeatocrats" - I thought you're fair and balanced Michelle?

  • Dear Youtube, Please pull down all of the non-participating republican candidate's banners and close their accounts. Only Ron Paul and John McCain have demonstrated the required chutzpah to face the you tube generation. Please return any advertising money to their campaign handlers and then get them the <censored> off of you tube since they apparently have no real interest in what us lowly common folk have to ask them.

  • LOL. It's quite amusing to hear someone who is associated with Fox news calling ANYTHING "biased". A true case of the pot calling the kettle black. Neo cons always whine and cry and bitch and moan about how biased CNN is, yet it gives a nightly platform to a far right pundit slimeball like Glen Beck to spew out absurd distortions, gross exaggerations and outright lies. Is CNN perfect? OF course not, but when compared to Fox in terms of both credibility and bias, they are like night and day.

  • Great editing job!

    5 stars!

  • Defeatocrats? Honestly, Michelle. Someday, when your ovaries have turned to concrete and you're looking back at the life you wasted as a shill for something you only think you understand, the mirror you gaze into every day will crack. And you will realize that you represented the worst of America when we needed the best.

  • The cowardice of the GOP front runners is astounding! It seems that we want a leader with boldness and vision. The GOP front runners are showing themselves to be little wimps who can't deal with change!

  • I don't believe their affraid of CNN I believe their affriad of real questions from the people and not their neocon/zionist brothers.

    RONPAUL2008dotcom

  • Are you suffering sir? Suffering from barking moonbat syndrome? Have you considered seeking professional help?

  • Ahem.

"I don't believe their affraid of CNN I believe their affriad of real questions from the people and not their neocon/zionist brothers." wow. A Racist Illiterate Dingbat for Paul. How unusual. Usually they are computer savvy Conspiracy theorists...Oh. yeah Kissin' Cousins aren't they.

Actually I think the CNN/YouTube debate was a MASS-DEBATE. Yes a Total Wank. it was very serious and hard hitting...Bahahahahahahaaha!!!!!

  • lame

  • michellemalkinisanidiot. com is an excellent site.

  • I don't blame anyone of the republicans for no showing at the YouTube debates. It's a stupid as idea. Having morons tape themselves in costumes. Be a real man and don't disguise yourself when you ask your stupid ass question. I swear democrates set this crap up.

  • What was ridiculous was the selection of videos "whoever" chose to use. There were PLENTY of worth while questions, of course the ones politicians do NOT want to answer. Like:

We, the American people, paid for a wall on the southern border of the U.S.; Where is it?

Too many good ones to list. They made a mockery out of it & tried to discredit the American people. They said "be creative", so people were. BUT, it drove traffic here, and we get to spread the message of freedom more. THX!

  • sorry, evilthought. I am not that mean to call people names. also, we all see people differently. and i sure hope that everyone doesn't agree with me on all things.

we can disagree on what we see as attractive. that is individualism.

    Ron Paul 2008!!!!

  • I agree, If you can't handle you tube you can't handle the country. Grow some balls and step up, before i have too.

  • I'm a Republican and I think our candidates should participate and the scaredness to avoid it, just shows a problem for us. If we run from this sort of stuff and only hang on Hannity or the like, then we deserve to lose some more elections for a while. Heck, might be good for us, since we just spend like Democrats and don't really care about conservative issues, but about getting elected.

  • The reason the Republicans are pulling out is because the debate is scheduled two days after the report on the surge in Iraq. CNN when use it against Republicans.

  • Wrong, Rudy didn't do his reading assignment that Ron Paul gave him.... :)

  • You know NYC should charge you for all the Mikma post its, I mean flyers and autographs, floating around. :P

  • Well I would say all this rhetoric is definate proof that these "news" organizations are nothing more then tools to change Americans opinions about things (brain wash). What that means is that you all are lied to EVERY DAY. How does that make you all feel? Dumb? Gullible?

    WAKE UP PEOPLE!

    VOTE FOR RON PAUL!

  • You can always spot a Ron Paul follower: He always starts out by telling you the oceans have water, but then, as if going into some sort of psychotic trance, he mutters something to the effect that the purple polka dotted sky is on fire. Nutcases, all of them.

  • You can always spot a Newt Gingrich follower: They always start with some non-productive negative analogy that contains no common sense and has no logicical basis, but then falling into thier well trained trance, they finish it with some surreal comparison that sounds like something out of a Dr. Seuss book. Nutcases, all of them.

Thanks for reinforcing this observation blogbat (and for the good laugh!). Wake up.

  • Oh, you might want to work on your spelling there. ;)

  • Very observant Martin.

Funny how you jerk-offs resort to being grammar police when they run out of witty things to say (which is pretty quick).

You work as a consultant in the blogosphere & were part of a multi-national mounted security company? In an equestrian club? Play the cello & piano? Thinking about quitting work to study abroad again? YOU do not resemble America, and are completely out of touch.. you are an elitist in your elite bubble. You are part of the problem.

  • A couple more minutes of looking into who you are:

You work in information systems also. You're a hired spook! A disinformer of American citizens; an enemy of the American people.

People/groups that read your writings as you claim:

    The Council on Foreign Relations

    World Affairs Council

    Federal Reserve Bank

    World Bank

    Readers of Slate . com

Readers of Bill Oreilly's Website (ROFL)

We know who you all are, and we are compiling & distributing as much information as we can about you all. Good luck!

  • Can I post your rant on my blog? That's the best one so far, thanks rstrandmark! I think I'll put it on my sidebar. ;) By the way, for those who missed it, follow the link on my profile. Oh, and one more thing, I just called my CFR friends; the black helicopters are en route! ;)

  • Fine and dandy, as I'm already on the radar. In the interest of accuracy and to clarify, its not a rant.

Too bad you 'elite globalists' think that patriotism is a sick religion. You do read these groups writings and books don't you? Hmm, for some reason the American Enterprise Institute website doesn't work for me anymore... they MUST be on to me. LOL

Just remember, there is >300,000,000 of 'us' and <100,000 of 'you'. Good luck.

  • MSM is just entertainment. No real news.

  • The GOP Candidates: Attended the MSNBC debate hosted by Chris Matthews.

The Defeat-o-crats: Won't attend a Fox news debate.

Seriously, what's the worst that could happen at the Fox debate? God forbid they get asked tough questions by Brit Hume or Chris Wallace. Their refusal to appear at a Fox debate speaks volumes about them....

  • nice try, but Dems are still not going on FOx News cos Fox News sucks balls.

  • and I'll let you suck mine if you can give me a REAL reason why they suck.. and not a liberal talking point

  • and that was for you Stewart0312

  • The CNN debates were unfair. Turn off CNN, and if your are watching FOX and believe anything they broadcast seek professional help ASAP.

  • malkin you cunt

  • fuck you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • how progressive of you

  • There are two candidates with heuvos. I agree with one but not the other on policy. They are almost total opposites, except both have courage. It does not surprise me at all that they are the only ones to say "I'm in," right away. Will CNN have the stones to hold a Ron Paul vs. John McCain debate if the rest chicken out?

  • When will the people realize the corporate media lies? Malkin is a beautiful woman who intensely broadcasts propaganda. This is a shame.

I so desperately beg, please America, READ THE CONSTITUTION!!!!!!!!!

Ron Paul is our only chance...

  • Most recently last 40 yrs Neoconservatives are a defection of the left or "intellectual liberal" that moved into the republican party after the nixon adminstration They were Dem's so to speak and are big government not the defin. of conservative

  • um, dooble post?

  • Don't believe a word Anderson Cooper says. He's almost as bad as FOX. Hillary Clinton = Fred Thompson

  • I thought this Coulter-wannabe got "banned from youtube" -- she sure whined about it for a long, long time.

  • Homo, do you just cut and paste?

    What a tool

  • That was a god damn waste of time and completely stuipid. "Running away from debates is for democrates." Yeah, just like they ran away from the Youtube debates.

  • Obviously you didn't watch the entire video.

"Running away from debates is for Democrats" like they run away from FOX, is what was said!

  • neocons aren't republicans their fascist

  • If neocons are fascist then ultra liberals are communists....

  • The politically related videos that are HEAVILY promoted and featured by YouTube are usually biased against the republicans.

  • If you twits think Fox is conservative, I've got some swampland in the Texas desert I want to sell you.....LOL!

    :)

  • Shh, don't wake them from their haze. Many of them think that supporting late term abortions is a moderate position.

  • LOL!

  • Our Republicans need to suck it up and just face the CNN Youtube debates. The Democrats have already set a bad precedent by running away from Fox.

  • I hope Rudy turns around after one of the typical left wing questions and slams Metro sexual AC in the face with his reply. Its time for them all to speak up and confront this bias. (except Ron Paul he is nuts)

  • 5 stars! The fact they are thinking about not attending is making me seriously reconsider any support I had for them. They're acting like a bunch of crybabies.

  • Michele u r great and so right. Please continue i know it can be frustrating.

  • If u forgive the violent analogy, comparing Fox News bias to CNN is like comparing targeting civilians to collateral damage: it's a matter of intent.

While everything involving humans has bias, most news outlets have a bias towards controversy, sensationalism, and, corporatism. Fox has those PLUS such clear ideological bias that just in my free time I was able to put together the Fox News Bias YouTube playlist at:

    tinyurl(.)com/299z37

    Thx 4 video AGAIN :-)

  • I agree the GOP should embrace it and say "to hell" with the tin-foil hatted nitwits. What better way to counter the moonbats than to use their invisible tractor beam technology? We can even create our own trolls...oops!

  • If anyone runs from CNN that's a political deathwish. CNN is too big of a name to ignore. Besides any facetime is good time.

  • Agreed, though I wouldn't say CNN is too big of a name. It's simply another media outlet.

  • Remember CNN was the pioneer of the 24 news outlet, without it, FOX news may not come around.

  • I'm sure Malkin is perfectly content with the fact that our country would collapse into a cesspool if it had to undergo even 4 more years under the Republican watch. How much worse does it have to get before people "get it". The only Republican worth supporting at this point is Ron Paul.

  • swishnyc if it callapses into a cesspool it will only be because of all the crap the democrats keep throwing at it.

  • Really? Stacy, could you provide ANY definitive examples to back up that argument? The last time I checked, the USA had endured the longest period of economic growth in its HISTORY with the Clinton administration. We even had 237 billion in surplus money and our country WAS on track to becoming debt free for the first time in its entire history in 2008. How anyone can support the Republicans now is beyond me. Boggles the mind!

  • I think that you need to get a clue from reality... Your grip is obviously at best tenuous...

Where did you get your numbers from? A dream? Paul Krugman? LOL!

  • Right. I'll tell you where I got my numbers as soon as you learn how to spell. Another good example of why our country is going down the drain.

  • Actually that was part of the so called "Peace Dividend". Clinton destroyed our military. Moth-balled most our navy, heaps of our equipment became obselete and the draw-down resulted in very low numbers of re-uping amongst the trained cadre especially the ones we needed the most - The Good Non-Coms. We are still paying for the Clinton years now.

  • How does that argument even matter in midst of all the benefits the USA was enjoying after Clinton? We are still paying for Clinton NOW? Are you serious? Due to Bush's military spending and borrowing from China our national debt is somewhere in the range of $4.9 trillion ($8.7 trillion if you count intragovernment debt). We WERE gonna be debt free in 2008!!!

  • And I hope that one day CNN will be fair and balanced.

  • I hope that one day there will be a fair and balanced YouTube. That will do to YouTube what FNC did to CNN.

  • But youtube is completely made out people submitting videos independently. The only way to have a fair and balanced youtube is for more conservative youtubers to submit videos.

  • The videos that are HEAVILY promoted and featured by YouTube are very very biased, unfair, not balanced and dishonest.

  • But...but... but... if the Republicans can't stand up to YouTube questions from the public, then how can they stand up to Al Qaeda????

  • mechascorpio, Rudy Giuliani said that he has "no problem" with the debate format, and said it was purely a scheduling issue.

    Check out my video response.

  • Ah, yes. "Scheduling." I'm sure we'll hear a lot of "scheduling issues" over the next few weeks. Of course, the inability to control one's schedule or prioritize correctly could be seen as poor qualities for a presidential candidate.

  • The questions ran the guantlet of issues from Iraq to the environment, plus personal questions like which Republican would you like as your VP. I wouldn't be surprised if similar questions appear at the Republican YouTube debate. Probably will be better since people (ideally) know what kind of questions to send and not send stuff like the guy in the video.

  • To be clear, I'm talking about the ratings.

  • You are dead on target. There are reasons people across the US call this lefttube, fooltube and across the world call this jihadtube. The people who deny it often call moderates radical rightwingers or neocons... to their own cause's peril.
