  • Hey Brandon, im curious where the haze/blurring effect is coming from. It doesnt appear to be 100% motion blur because the parts that fly up have a haze below and to screen left of them. Was that part of the simulation or is it an post process to make it look more "full".

  • @SpecialDeFX i think that is mist !

  • Damn it! That's awesome!

  • You are a god to me, when I am done with highschool I want to do the same things as you make, but for the game industry. ;D

  • @NickGuyt He has foot in the game industry aleady. If you check out his 2011 reel, you'll notice he has worked for several blockbuster titles such as Bioshock 2, Dante's Inferno, Dragon Age, etc. :)

  • @3DLevel2D

I noticed that, but those are like videos. I would rather go to modelling objects for the actual game itself, if you know what I mean.

    my explanation sucks.. :3

  • @NickGuyt I see what you mean, that makes sense to me now. Its never too early to start learning

  • @3DLevel2D

I do design in 2d spaces, such as sprites and drawings, do you think I should start modelling?

  • Holy snowblast of the winter marquee festival in Austin! You need more views!

  • Impressive, as always

  • Stunning, but perhaps a bit too "foamy"
